2030 seems to be the focus as that's when SEC is up for TV renewal. By then I believe the buyout is down to just over $100M. Teams will pay that to leave if they know they are getting SEC money. It would take 3-4 years to recoup.

Why would any recruit sign a contract with penalties? It's going to be 4 year scholarships all over again where no one used them.
