wild culture shock ride from middle of Alabama to Hawaii to potentially Blacksburg...(or even C'ville. Sheesh)

I don't think we want him. His numbers aren't overwhelming. Unless we just need a serviceable, warm body....

That coach will be a 1-2 seed next year without the best player Duke has had in a decade. We can do this all day. Cooper Flagg is a generational prospect- that will be replaced next year and Duke will be a top 10 team.

I agree, it sucks the Browns are so QB needy, but they did it to themselves. There are a great players at other positions of need either now and we will have to take a risk on a QB prospect here because of how bad the situation has become.

EDIT: Additional thoughts, I hope the Browns grab either the WR Burden or the DE Green at 33 and roll the dice that the Saints won't trade up in front of the 36th for the Browns to take Sanders.

He's an intriguing prospect.. he's tough and accurate- that could go a long way... Flip side, his arm and speed are average, which will be exposed at the next level. I'd say top end he's a Drew Brees with the right coach and work ethic. Bottom end, he's Chase Daniel.

Yep- roughly the same compensation the Broncos gave up for John Elway. I know times have changed, but Hunter better be great- end of the day he is a not huge WR that likely won't play both ways in the NFL. I know he "wants" to but the Jags have millions riding on him staying healthy. Not easy to do in that league.

Nah- sub a 3 star power forward with Hurley, Hill, etc and K has them in the final four. His track record proves it- He was Duke baksetball. Sheldon Williams, Zion, Hurley- they were all replaced by teams that went to final fours.

We got a UPS shipment notification that I think is supposed to be delivered by next Tues (4/29), but we haven't ordered anything recently. So we think that is probably the parking pass.

EDIT: Wasn't the parking pass...sorry for leading people to believe it was. Wife said she read somewhere, or got a notification, that it was going to be a digital pass, which is in line with how they are doing everything else digital.

Saw a mock a couple days ago with my Vikings taking Jaylin Lane in later rounds. Would be a cool situation for him since Nailor is likely to be paid elsewhere if he produces again as a 3rd WR in the coming season. That gives Lane a potential 3rd WR spot in a pass happy team with a QB whisperer coach, as early as 2026, without taking potential injuries into account.

This made me immediately think of when VT picked up Taylor Soule. She was a better scorer at BC than Freelon was at TT, but what Soule really brought was speed, athleticism, and physicality which were things that team desperately needed. Until proven otherwise, I have faith in CMD to identify the pieces she needs and if Freelon can fit the bill as an upper level defender or a rebounder then I'm less concerned about her PPG. VT always has a bunch of shooters.

Hopefully Duffy saw someone who was trapped in a system that did not fit her talent, and got her here by explaining that to her.

Falcons tired of waiting outside the House of Pass Rush, decided to pay double price to the bouncer to be let in. Like the picks, but not happy they gave up next year's #32 pick to move up.

She is transferring from the Texas Tech team that defeated VT in the second round of the WBIT, so I'm guessing Duffy saw something she liked. Freelon had seven points, six rebounds, and two steals in that game.

Welcome to Virginia Tech! Go Hokies.
