Just started cruising, recently, and got really seasick on the very first day rounding the Virginia Capes. All the veteran cruisers and a few crew recommended ginger (ale, beer, etc) or anything naturally green, like apples or limes.

Helped me out on the rest of that cruise and the next two.

replace snickers with 3 musketeers and you d have my wife's list so not that unpopular

Pop showed potential in his time at the end of the season, but also showed his inexperience. Drones missing time should get Pop more reps and make fall camp a close competition as long as Pop succeeds with those reps. I don't know whether to blame Drones' struggles on him, a nagging injury, the former OC, etc. I think Lane and Tuten getting 3-4th round draft consideration and Felton possibly sneaking into the 7th makes me question Bowen a bit more. We could have 6 players drafted from a 6-7 team! Makes me question the coaching all around. Good thing there were changes made...

There is a sunken sub off the RI shore that people still try to dive to and get in trouble every year.

Yeah in that case it might just be a find what works best for you. Dramamine frequently needs 12-24 hours to take effect. I've seen pills work better over patches, but that also likely varies per person.

Best of luck, motion/sea sickness are no fun at all

Yeah sometimes it's not even experience or the size of the weather.

For my money a confused sea state (where wind/waves may not be aligned, or there are kind of two competing swell directions for the non-mariners) is absolutely brutal on the senses since you can never fall into a rhythm of a wave period.

Might be an unpopular list?

Reese's, snickers, sour patch kids, Swedish fish, twix.

Played my first round with the new clubs. I told y'all it would happen, shot a 109 lol. But I have a brand new problem: I can't chip for shit.

The short game is what killed me today, I attempted more chips today than any round I've played since I picked up golf. I'll figure it out. The score didn't change but the confidence is at an all time high.

I look at it as I have at least 15 years till retirement. I have known a market correction has been coming for at least 3 years as everything was very overvalued. I have a variety of income stocks, growth etf and mutual funds, and some income and growth etf's. My stocks are blended between domestic and foreign. 95% of everything I own pays at least a token dividend. So in a recession my shares that are reinvesting (go DRIP) are buying more shares. The market will finish its correction sooner or later and recover somewhat. If you buy a stock, buy a stock that you would want to own for at least 10 years.

Overall not a great week. Horrible performance against Radford, and dropping the opener against a bad ND is going to do nothing for our rep. Probably took a step backwards as far as ranking votes go, and have some work to do this week.

I knew guys that were excellent sailors that still got seasick bad for 2-3 days underway.

it may come down to the availability of the shaft.

If it is commonly available, then you can probably beat their price.

If it is an expensive upgrade no matter where you buy it, then there may be little difference in price even if CC does it.

Great advice, especially on the 24 hour thing. I started getting motion sickness about 5 years ago out of nowhere. Only puked once, but car rides, boat rides, turbulence... none of it sits well all of a sudden

Holiday: christmas. My oldest showed unbridled joy and enthusiasm this year and made me remember the joy of the holidays.

Flower: maybe daffodils. Very prevalent in Newport and mean spring is near!

Least favorite: poorly done Thai or Asian. When it's done right it's stellar, but can never find one that meets the mail for me.

Guilty pleasure: uh either rooting for teams that will continuously break my heart (hello VT, Spurs, Caps) or recently buying toys for the kids that benefit me too haha

None. Saw plenty of polar bears and walrus but no dugongs or narwhals unfortunately

I think waffles have a higher floor, pancakes have a higher ceiling.

Give me waffles

Would say 2013? edit: 2011 Miami homecoming game, after the Logan Thomas 4th and 1 from the 19, where the stadium was going wild before and after the hurricanes last play.

That or the David Wilson kickoff return for TD against GT. Being able to be on the field for so many enter sandman jumps as a cadet was awesome too!

On the flipside, boise st and jmu were a tough two weeks as a freshman cadet.

Take your dramamine 24 hours out if needed. Stay in a place where you can see the horizon. Or in a lower, centerline compartment. Fresh air helps.

Sometime you can puke and rally too lol
