Is this a reference to the wide open drops he had on 3rd down all season or a couple good catches in a lost cause bowl game?
My disabled girlfriend dumped me. I was so mad I stole her wheelchair.
Guess who came crawling back?
I think Pop's 'real' level of development was revealed in the bowl game. Drones would have done a better job were he healthy IMHO.

As someone who regularly cruises, the germs thing is a real concern. All you can do is wash your hands and sanitize a million times (which they do make it easy to do). And sometimes you still catch something.
I would say RBs are better once you add in Stewart who won't be on campus until summer IIRC? OL pieces I would say are worse but I agree with the assessment as a whole I don't think this team is any better than 2022 on paper. We're significantly worse than last year just about everywhere it seems which has me quite concerned.
Maybe I'll feel better seeing some of the transfers but right now I can't say any unit on defense is better than 2022. On offense, our QB might be better if Drones is healthy, our RBs are a push, TEs is probably a push, Benji might be slightly better than Gallo (could be a whole lot better if he breaksout), WRs are better now but how could they not be, and Oline seems a push at best, there isn't a Danzi or Chaplin on the roster right now. We definitely don't have Moore punting which is right now a downgrade.
Coaching should be better but I'm not sure we have better players than in 2022.
Try a shorter, 3 or 4 day cruise, if you can. You can get accustomed to it without overcommitting time.
You can minimize health risks by eating at the main dining room or single serve kiosks.
For better or for worse I heavily tapped my 401K in the last two years to help a young mother with three kids and a 4th on the way who has been and still is facing a lot of extremely difficult circumstances. Used several hundred thousand dollars that would have been worth a lot less after recent drops. So at least it went for good causes and helped more than I could have had it been later this year...
I DID have one I forgot about in my AMA last yea though technically it was not actually almost ARRESTED since police never got involved but was a late night (after bar-closing) accidental near grand theft auto so COULD'VE been arrested., LOL.
close to a lot of danger usually. Its like 99% hitting a confident shot (at least for me). The moment I think about blading it over the green I'll decelerate on the down swing and duff it 8 inches. If I think about not chili dipping it 8 inches I'll blade it into the pond 20 yards over the green. If I picture a landing zone on the green and hitting a confident shot there I usually end up safe.
Also playing to my ability, get the ball on the ground fast, putting from well off the green, bump and runs, not trying to fly the ball to the pin if I don't have to.
Agree here. By all accounts, Drones is the unquestioned QB1 this year. I don't even think it's a competition with Pop. I know Pop has a lot of fans from the spring game two years ago and a fun UVA game, but he has also been extremely bad in his games against Duke and the bowl. If Drones is hurt or hampered by injury again, the stock for this season will plummet.
the closer you get to the greens, the harder the shots are, for some reason
I think you underestimate how bad UVA's secondary was.
Also, the fact that Monty recruited drones out of high school signals that drones is probably a fit for whatever scheme Monty intends to run.
Our inability to hit open receivers was glaring by the end of the year. It's one thing to thread the needle in tight coverage, it's another thing to not be able to give your receiver a chance when they have two steps on their man. We also seem to have no ability to put touch on a ball. We rifle short passes to wide open receivers and then lob into coverage it seems. Very frustrating.
I can't blame the OC for Drones missing wide open receivers and throwing 3 yards behind receivers on crossing routes. He was also good for at least one massive overthrow on a go route per game.
Hope for a repeat this week with a win and another sweep. This is a heckova team and I've really enjoyed watching the games, even if usually just on the computer. Great at the plate, and in the field, I'd love to get those LSU losses back and feel like there would be a different outcome if we were playing them now.
I never once got even woozy on the ship, but I've barfed all over at least a half a dozen head boats.
Of course, I was on an aircraft carrier...
Wife really wants to take a family cruise and I'm not into it. Partially because I feel like it's a floating haven for germs, but also because seasickness.
Dramamine frequently needs 12-24 hours to take effect
This is news to me! Good to know. So if I'm traveling at 8am tomorrow, I'll take one at 8am today, is there any point to taking a second one tomorrow morning or nah?
Ayden Greene has entered the chat...
One thing that stood out with the offense the last few years - we catch no contested balls. We have to be wide open to make a catch unless the last name is gosnell.
Hopefully, Drones is field-ready by summer.
If not...
Next man up.

I've always done a dose at night then another the morning of. Sometimes, depending on weather, just a half the night before instead of a full dose, but still get the morning one it. The night one is like the primer, and morning is the reinforcement.
