Miami makes it 15-1 on solo Homer in 4th
Finally get out of 3rd but give up 8 additional runs after failing to turn a textbook double play ball to short.
Grand Slam makes it 14-1
After another walk to load bases, another pitching change.
2RBI single after intentional walk
10-1 with runners on 2nd/3rd
Passed ball
8-1
Failing to turn two leads to a run walked in
7-1
Pitching change coming with bases loaded two outs
First baseman doesnt seem to know how to execute a pick off attempt. Keeps catching ball in front of base and having to turn 270 degrees to try to tag
Chance to turn two and Shortstop does a soft underhand lob with ZERO urgency rather than throwing it to second baseman. These guys are so bad at fundamentals.
Fail to cover a bunt at first, 6-1 with runners on 1st/2nd
No idea what 2nd baseman was doing
Down 5-1 in 3rd already against Miami
Stanford takes another big hit. Nico Provo in the portal.
Literally walked off run rule. Abromavage takes the RBI for 9-1 win.
Bases loaded
Archbishop Spalding has a good reputation as football power. Looks like a good pick up. Here's to a long and productive career at VT.
8-1 now with runners on 2nd and 3rd
Hokies up 6-1 in bottom of 5th; runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out.
Sears' minutes (assuming she's healthy) are coming from somewhere
Yes sir, Edgewater.
Mims? Edgewater? Oak Hill? Bethune Beach?
I'm jealous. I grew up just south of New Smyrna Beach and loved watching the shuttle launches as a kid. Especially the night launches.
Never forget the old Venezuelan saying: Things Are Never So Bad That They Can't Get Worse
One of the all time great book titles. About the collapse of Venezuela.

Edit: another great South American saying, although this one was from Peru and about the collapse of the Incas was something along the line of:
Don't pee into the air, because you never know when the wind will change.
Context was how when Pizarro and the Spanish came in, so many local groups helped them out because the Incas had conquered and then suppressed the groups around them. Once the bigger dogs with guns and steel came in to overthrow the former big dog Incas, the Incas had few allies and many that actively assisted the Spanish. Same story with Cortez and the Aztecs. Probably even more so there.
That's what Will Wade did to NC state when he went back to LSU last week after getting fired by them a few years ago and only being at NC State for 1 year.
Sounds like he could be an 8th man on another team and get more nil

Followed by a botched throw to second allowing a single into double. Making mistakes all over the place
