To be fair, he is getting paid by WVU per his contract still since he was let go. Our contract escalates his pay to match WVU's next season after he's done getting paid by both schools this upcoming season
I'd guess their first target is Banks but they likely lost a bidding war for Allen so are they going to be able to pull Banks? They might settle for Dex. Maybe. but keep in mind, PSU just lost in the playoffs and continued the narrative that Franklin can't win big games. I bet they shoot a bit higher than Dex to be their DC now- just my opinion. They are not cutting corners this close to a natty.

The deciding factor between us and SCar was that we would look at him at QB. SCar wanted him at DB. He's definitely a project but has some pure arm talent.

Back in 2020 we were in Clearwater and took the trip up to Three Sisters Springs. Really cool to see them. We also hit Weeki Wachee Springs on the way back. Both cool spots if you're in the area.

Davi is too small. His stature makes him look like Colandrea out there. Love the kid, and I think he has the right attitude and work ethic. He's just small. Just wasn't blessed with size.
Whit can do whatever he wants with the OL coach- in this case a low ball offer and cheaper guy than Crook. What fans need to do in turn is not expect the OL to be better with a bargain coach. Anything else is insanity.

If we don't announce today, I'm gonna start worrying a bit about the quality of the next DC, assuming it isn't someone from ND or Ohio State. I'd have thought they'd have whoever it is locked up by now.
12 years is not bad luck. We've had one better than average season in a dozen years. Yes, we have not had bounces go our way this year, but its a long trend of 6-6 type seasons. Fuente gutted the talent on the roster AND had horrible coaches. Pry has raised the floor of the talent (marginally) and has hit a couple good ones in the portal, but as I have said- the facts are we have players leaving for ND and the SEC and players coming in from Marist and Wingate. Yes we have gotten a few P4 guys - the Wake WR, etc. but in order to go from perennial 6-6 to really improving the talent, you need better than a 43rd ranked HS class and a bunch of 3 star and lower division transfers. We are treading water at best talent wise this off season- so expect more of the same record wise. It's not magic.

Somewhat related - what is the best way to exchange to local currency ahead of trip like this? Quickest, easiest, best exchange??? I'll be heading to Scotland this summer with family and need to start making preparations. I assume dollars could be used in a lot of places in a pinch??
