other thread has the traction, locking this one up
This is a big dick swinging hire. Hopefully the DC will be too
Too quick for me to keep up. ๐บ
Hopefully a few WV starting Offensive linemen decide to take the Country Roads home to SWVA and Blacksburg.
Let's go. One more good hire to go then let's get this portal train in gear.
For those wondering there are currently 3 WV OL in the portal. I'll take whichever ones Matt thinks are worth taking
LFG. Good hire.
In 2023, Moore was nominated for the Broyles Award, an honor given to the nation's top assistant coach. In that season, West Virginia's offensive line helped pave the way for the Mountaineer's No. 1 rushing output (2,976 yards) in the Power 5. Additionally, West Virginia was No. 1 in the Big 12 and No. 2 nationally in fewest sacks allowed with 10.
Under his guidance, West Virginia has seen 3 offensive lineman develop into NFL Draft Picks. These players include Yodny Cajuste (3rd Round, New England), Colton McKivitz (5th Round, San Francisco), and Zach Frazier (2nd Round, Pittsburgh). His latest prodigy, Wyatt Milum, is expected to be a high draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Moore previous stops include Troy (Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line) in 2006 and from 2015-2018, Louisiana Tech (Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line) from 2013-14, Middle Tennessee State (Offensive Line) in 2012, Texas Tech (Offensive Line) from 2007-11
Welcome home!
That's terrifying.
I cannot have a year of my GT family trolling me because we were stupid enough to hire Collins.
Also, Pry will def be fired if he hires Geoff. I've never seen a team more finesse and less physical than a Geoff GT team.

Sure I agree we need more portal talent we also have a butt load of open scholarship spots so I'll wait until the portal window closes to panic
Not me. This cycle, we have 1 P4 portal add- an injured backup from Clemson. We have a D3 take, FCS takes. Its a big fucking problem, IMO. Big.
Was not able to watch or follow the game due to being on a long-distance drive. Sad to hear it was more of the same from the MBB program. Even sadder that we had one of the best moments in program history with the ACC championship win and we have completely squandered it away. This conference season is going to be ugly.
Eh if that helps with family relations to get their younger brother I'll let it pass
I was joking about it, but I've talked to a couple friends that thought it was really happening.
I was around then, at the game as well. But I don't remember the comedian, though I definitely remember hearing and reading about the joke, but I don't think it was any of the above, but it was a good while ago.
Quiten Reddish's older brother commits- from Wingate.... are we still pretending we aren't in big fucking trouble talent wise?
I used to watch a lot of games from the all 22 view, it takes some time but you get used to counting the yard lines.
not only am i a more effective person, i am also more efficient
It really screws up contractors too because sowm things are funded and others aren't so if youre on a funded program they try to put all the best people on the program to keep them employed and then nothing gets done because they don't have any idea what's going on and your budget gets blown by work that was scoped for people that were going to be there a while so in 2 months you have to get all new people ramped up to backfill everyone that went back to their original program, so it cost a lot more because of double ramp up times. So then your left with the bag at the end, and you can't point out to senior management that the 5 Rockstars they put on your program didn't help because that's saying they aren't Rockstars. Which no one is in 2 months for a program they dont know.
The Collin's thing was a joke right? There's no actual smoke there is there?
Seeing all these bowl games lined up like this... Geez. Seems a little excessive if you ask me.
VT 99 team did have 4 wins over ranked opponents- #24 UVA 31-7; #16 Syracuse 62-0!!; #19 Miami 43-10; and #22 BC 38-14)- all by 14 or more points; only wins by less than 20 were @Pitt 30-17 and @WVU 22-20.
And then watch as the Vanderbilts, Missouris, Marylands, Rutgers, etc beg us to take them back when they realize they will NEVER FUCKING WIN ANYTHING IN THAT CLUB AND THEY ARE ONLY THERE TO GIVE EVERYBODY ELSE THE EASY WINS THEY USED TO GET FROM FCS TEAMS. and of course, the haves will have already taken away the equal revenue sharing from those teams. And we can all tell them all to fuck off as they lose TV contracts as they become irrelevant because it all becomes just too boring and nobody watches anymore. It might take 30 years, but it'll happen.
This is the way
yeah, and you are better/tougher for it, damn it

(that's a nice edit, i was curious what a mortal train was lol)
