Is there any chance he could let his system go and just hire the best available DC he can get and let him take control? Might be tough for the traditionally prideful type of person that takes up coaching and makes it to this level. But he already tried the hand picked "protege" thing. And we all know he doesn't need to be taking any more time from his game management training regiment he is hopefully implementing for himself.

Firing underperfoming coaches is only half the battle. The real test will be how the replacements do. Pry's head coaching career is by all accounts depending on them being successful.

Experienced coaches have been going off the board already so losing two weeks of opportunities seems really short sighted. I am not surprised by moves being shortsighted but it is another frustration point.
Definitely the right moves. Depending on the DC hired, there may be more changes to get his people in place.
Any chance Davis is the OL coach? He is currently listed as the co-OL coach. I guess that wouldn't be the solution to improving pass blocking.
Hell, one of the best coaches currently on staff is a Hoo.
Really need to get a quality experienced offensive line coach. Someone with a proven record of developing quality beef!
