Most of the rebounds and misses came on put backs for her own shots. Miss a bunny, get the rebound - repeat. Be nice to see a kick out pass on one of those rebounds instead of shot number 4 against 3 defenders.
Hey in VERY small doses, the Hallmark Channel is .tolerable. However , unlike Forrest's 'box of chocolates', with the Hallmark Channel you ALWAYS know what you're gonna get! (If they aren't already doing it, they should fire the writers and just have ChatGPT write the screenplays- they'd probably be LESS formulaic that way.)
We also had Thomas that game. The bigger issue is that Thomas AND Tuten are listed as questionable again leaving the backfield to be just Coney. He's had some solid runs but he's also fumbled a few times and isn't ready to be the only back with no one behind him.
Also subway owns the market on "I'm gonna punish myself with a low quality sandwich".
Sheetz has at least some of that market.
Currently rewatching ST and finished S2 last week. Murray is such a great addition to the core character group.
And for old people like me in their mid-50s, we can remember when Subway was very good. Yep, times have changed not for the better.
Call me crazy, but I would rather have a healthy Schlee playing QB than the injured Drones we rolled out for the Clemson game. Even if he can technically play, Drones was not doing well and you could tell something was off.

The Syracuse game was lost due to coaching decisions and the defense not the offense. Bowen called a good game with Schlee and Coney. I have faith that Duke is as bad as I hope.
Which is what I was hoping for as it was the best solution. They have the built in platform there for the drums, etc.

I was at the game, neck and neck until half way through the fourth. That ball just would not go in for the Hokies for about three quarters. Then it finally started dropping and we pulled away. Big Win against a good team.
We did really well against Rutgers #1 if she was averaging 27 points. However their little #32 can shoot the three ball really well. I was glad we got the win it was neck and neck for 3.5 quarters.
in fairness, Churchill was drunk a lot and might have slurred
Bold of you to assume we'd ever hand the ball off to Coney.

Any news on Gosnell?

I don't see anyway that it's detrimental to football
It's detrimental so far as locking VT into a dead/dying league. Our escape hatch was locked shut by adding them.
I'm at most 50% confident the ACC will be in tact in 7 years - If this is the case, the downside is basically zero, and VT steals a few mil
Sure, we make a few mil. We also spend a few mil traveling out there and back over the course of the 7 years. We might still be net positive but not by an amount that is worth noting. The downside of the ACC remaining intact is that it is highly unlikely the next TV contract the league gets will match or exceed the per/school payout we're getting right now. The major networks are putting all their eggs in the Big10 and SEC baskets so there won't be any eggs left over for the ACC when the time comes to sign a new contract. And by locking ourselves into the ACC, we're locking ourselves out of the (perhaps improbable) potential opportunity to join one of the P2 and secure the type of funding we'll need to stay competitive.
2-5% percent raise for the next 6+ years
peanuts. We're well behind the P2 by far more than 2-5%. And it's pretty shortsighted to take a 2-5% raise over the next 7 years when that number is going to drop off and, in all likelihood, become a deficit beyond those 7 years. I don't see a realistic path to the ACC making more money once those schools start taking their full payouts. I think, long term, we're going to see a decrease in revenue because the networks won't sign a bigger deal with the ACC and we're going to be splitting the money more ways.
AAU access seems like something that will matter for a bubble-P2 team like VT. I buy the notion that there is some politicking here that may help us (or not hurt us).
I don't see how AAU status helps VT. I also don't see how adding Cal and Stanford to the ACC helps VT get AAU status. Only a fool would think doing two schools a small favor by voting to add them to a sinking ship will result in VT getting AAU status. Maybe Sands did a handshake deal but I doubt very seriously that it'll result in VT getting AAU status.

I am here to say that I am a proud Anericab. God Bless Anericab.

Caught the replay late last night. We have some players. This was a very physical game. Lot of uncalled contact all the way around. The type of game that rattle our previous coach's teams. On the other had, we are not nearly good as working off the ball as a team to get wide open looks for three. Not sure if that is coaching philosophy, or just a new coach, system and players having to start somewhere and we just have not worked that part out yet.
