I was actually hoping he would get the nod this week after nailing 2 kicks last weekend to get us on the board and the extra points through the rest of the game. That's no easy task in a hurricane! Aside from leading the country in kickoff yards, he's perfect kicking FGs and XPs from under 40. There's not many kickers with his leg that would even have a shot at 50+ with the coach's confidence behind him.

The bottom line to me is that this team is playing like A TEAM. There isn't one side of the ball that isn't doing their job in the grand scheme of things. You have to say that that is a tribute to the change in coaching culture. This culture change has had a positive effect on the defense.

Not sure.... I will say that Clark Ruhland might have a little inside knowledge when it comes to this, because his weekly wallpaper on his site has been accurate with the correct VT helmet in all 6 games so far this year, and he puts them out on Monday or Tuesday every week. Only thing I think he's missed on is that Liberty wore their red helmets and not the white ones he had.

The Committee is key here. The whole point of having a committee pick the top 4 teams to go to the play off is that they can pick the 4 best teams. They can look at stats, tape, or just go with their gut but they aren't bound by any of those things.
If Baylor wants to make the playoffs they have to prove that they deserve to be there, just like everyone else. Also dealing with people in the committee its going to be impossible to completely remove off the field issues from the discussion. Even if they are never out right discussed they will be in the back of everyone's mind.

I fully plan on joining after the Christmas holiday. Unfortunatly, $84 has a value here of probably around $250. To me though it is still 100% worth it. I love coming to this site and reading both the articles and the comments. For me TKP is not just a great site for VT football but also a place where I can speak and read about football. Living in Russia, most people think football is just what we call rugby and when I talk about it I have to call it "American football", which I fucking hate, or people think I am talking about soccer.
So I urge everybody to join TKP and I will follow you shortly. You will never find something better.
