Half the game in college football is S&C/player development. These are kids who commit when they are 17 and leave when they are 22 - the upside of good strength training and conditioning is enormous.
When we got good in the 90s, we excelled at this. When we fell off a cliff in the last five years, we've been bad at it - witness Dadi, Deon Clarke, others, not adding any - ANY - weight in their upperclass years.

Ron on the other hand, disguises his intentions by playing fundamental tactics and forcing the opponent into a waiting trap, costing his team dearly.

Say what you want about Notre Dame and being overhyped most years, but it's comments like this that just absolutely reek of salt. Regardless of what happened in the championship itself, they were undefeated with a legitimate schedule of P5 opponents and one of the toughest SOS in the country. They were absolutely "relevant."
I also noticed a lineman stare down a UNC rb after a tfl. Thought for sure a flag would be thrown. Yes guys, be tough, but also stay smart. Let the scoreboard make the statement.
