Lexington Steele, who has never been in any movie I've ever seen. Ever.
Sure, sure...
Probably need an Exorcism, Scottyb. Demons begone!!!
Great article.
And wasn't that Michigan before Harbaugh?
This is very good, funny stuff. Thanks for starting my day with a laugh. BTW, we are traveling to Syracuse this weekend with a group of Hokies and we will be holding a communion before the game on Saturday, to remove the dreaded curse of the DOME. GO HOKIES!
meaning they likely are unaware of the first rule of recruiting; ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF THERE'S A YOUNGER BROTHER.
Boom!
I can't disagree more with this. This is like saying because last month was 10% colder than average in the mid-Atlantic, global temps are clearly going down.
Luck is by far the biggest factor in significant game-missing, season-ending injuries - not an S&C program. The game is played by ever bigger, stronger, faster guys intent on hitting other bigger, stronger, faster guys as hard as they can. No S&C program can prevent torn ACL's, broken bones, concussions, etc. A fraction of an inch can be the difference between a minor sprain and a career ending injury.
As for minor injuries, I'll bet that rate is up around 100% by this time the year. Like every other year. For every team.
So be careful with taunting the injury gods because the injury situation could change in a heartbeat.
I am wayyy off one week and on the next. It's a good thing I don't gamble.
yeah in the same way that eating a knuckle sandwich is bad for the fist
"what are you doing with the extra 30 minutes you gain each day by not having to dry 60 lbs of hair?"
"Your mother. Next question."
Andrew's followup to the game was a fair assessment, and generally gave credit where credit was due.
News & Observer: VT 34 - UNC 3, the Day After - Andrew Carter
Trubisky and his teammates, and Fedora, went out of their way not to blame the weather on Saturday. They played through a steady, hard rain. Winds remained constant around 20 mph. It was nasty. But they knew Virginia Tech also had to play in it.
That said, downplaying the effect of the weather would be ignoring the havoc it wreaked on both teams. The Tar Heels simply couldn't run their offense in the conditions on Saturday. They couldn't execute even the most basic parts of it.
I find it funny that it looks like that got flagged.
Answered my question this morning

I love these soo much...can't wait for ND. I know they have a very special place in your heart...right next to McNabb
Winner!
I thought you were supposed to have an airsoft pistol in the other hand or is that just Cody Journell?
They've all got degrees from UNC - why does lack of education surprise you?
BUTT SLAP!!!
Chuck Clark at the end, "There's Coach Fuente and Coach Foster hugging again. Nothing to see here."
Gotta be better questions about Moto to ask than that.
Yeah like, "what are you doing with the extra 30 minutes you gain each day by not having to dry 60 lbs of hair?" Whatever happened to hard driving journalism, geez.
STUCK-
...and that play burned #2's red shirt. Maybe he'll transfer.
(edit: I'm glad we don't have to burn red shirts for running backs)
I saw this in the gallery and thought "When did Trubisky get tackled into the endzone?"

Thankfully, I have Giftory to remind me how that really went down...
Don't get the question about what position Moto COULD possibly play in the NFL. I mean it's half way through our season and the guy is asking Foster about what position his LB MIGHT play IF he gets to the NFL??? Gotta be better questions about Moto to ask than that.
Other than that pretty good though.
That is an official fully, Phantom.

This is probably the 'best' schedule college football has ever seen.
I'm not going by bus but I am flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago and getting a rental car to drive to South Bend. I got an airbnb on Burdette St, which appears to be a block from campus. Arriving Friday night, leaving Sunday morning.

I've mentioned it before, but I really like what I've seen from Sobczak, although that action has been very limited. He seems quick off the ball and is big bodied. What I don't know is how that translates into an entire game worth of work.
I would love to know if you hold a similar view on him.
