Because flipping UVA to the Atlantic would eliminate UNC-UVA which is one of the longest running series in football.
Then again flipping VT to the coastal would eliminate GT, Miami, and UNC every year and give us FSU, Clemson, and Louisville. Too many good teams in the Atlantic?
Larry Fedora thinks UNC athletes should go to class and get education.
In the early to mid-1980s, probably 1984...
It had to be at least 1984. I graduated in Dec 83, and we did not do it as far as I can remember while I was there.
Bump for relevancy on a day where I might get even more helpful feedback

hoping for the BAMM track, but I'll take anything but GFS or HWRF
Larry Fedora agrees with Cardale that UNC players ain't come to play SCHOOL.

Yeah, sure. Scuttlebutt says that Buzz was really, really interested in the TCU opening last year. At this point, I tend to think we've got Buzz until Med Hill graduates. They are close. Hopefully in that time, we win something significant enough to raise our profile so that the schools that are clearly a better gig is a shorter list. But Buzz has made an odd move before (he even quit UNO as HC after one year), so who knows what he's thinking.
I would think we have Fuente for at least another 3 years. His relationship with OU may help, he did leave there on purpose. And that probably means he's got less of an interest in Okie St as well. That's two home state schools that may not be a slam dunk for him. That leaves the big Texas schools, Arkansas (maybe), LSU, Nebraska as geographical fits. Once you get past geography, you can certainly make the case that VT fits as many other boxes as he's looking for.
But for every logical jump (Richt -->UGA) you have an illogical jump (Mendenhall -->UVA). If I was to guess, I would put money on aTm as Fuente's next spot. But who knows maybe he ends up at something illogical, like UCLA or Wisky. Or that he stays here forever and ever, Amen.
Headed up from NoVA to visit a couple of friends that live in Albany for the weekend, and we're doing a day trip from there for the game. I wasn't the one to buy tickets - so no idea where our seats are either.
Larry Fedora doesn't think Bud Foster looks re-energized this season.
Larry Fedora changed his name from Larry Redhat because he couldn't afford the licensing.
(OK, that one's a stretch, but I hope there are a few other Linux geeks here on TKP)
add in USC potentially
So I'm looking to have a rather important event on Sunday night in Richmond. Anyone have any idea how wet it'll be?
They'd be wise to wait another year and wait for the Chip Kelly NFL experiment to end. I dont see San Fran being a good team, even if they get the next draft's biggest name. NFL owners and fans are impatient, I doubt he last his full contract.
Maybe they can even get Helfrich to take a demotion /s
Seriously though, he seems more likely a candidate to slide back to coordinators role as opposed to taking another head coaching job at a lesser school.
but to see that each coach potentially has upwards of 600k twitter bots following them to retweet everything they say just seems.... wrong
and pathetic.
Yes...but it's in Summerville, so no help.
Larry Fedora only started growing a beard to try to emulate Bud Foster.
Larry Fedora thinks a fedora is a good look
Auburn fans say that about just about anyone. Evans was committed to Fuente at Memphis and then when we hired him Evans committed to the Hokies. That looks like Fuente was Evans' first choice, not even a school but a coach.
How many games have you been to where the team wears all maroon? Now, of those games, which ones have been night/Thurs night?
Also, I bleed maroon. That's just my personality.

Larry Fedora wears a Harley Davidson t-shirt but doesn't know how to ride and thinks they're a little too loud.
