They're usually not that specific about TV times. And kickoff isn't usually that late after broadcast time, except for primetime.
Based on UNC's lack of fan attendance all sections will be visitor sections! But I digress, my group will be in section 109.
Tickets are way up after last night. We snagged some for around $35, today I looked and tickets that were the same price are now $60 or up.
It's college football, variance is crazy. FSU also beat Ole Miss and utterly dominated them in the second half. They've looked bad the last few games but that doesn't mean they won't look dominant down the stretch, especially as their r-Fr qb comes along and the defense gets healthy.

Outside of FSU and Miami is there really a significant one? Clemson & GT? I've lived in Clemson country for 8 years and its never really felt like rivalry. Maybe UNC and NC St? I could see the pack getting worked up about it, but I doubt UNC would care that much.

I was in Chapel Hill in '14 when we won, watching the game with my now-fiancee. We were sort of on one of our first dates with her whole family and some mutual friends who are all Tarheel alums, and so I was being very mindful of what I said and how I acted. However, when Kendall Fuller picked off Mitch Trubisky and waltzed into the endzone right before halftime, I couldn't keep from saying "Yeah....don't try to throw on Kendall Fuller."
I'll be there this Saturday, too, with the same crew (plus two more Hokies) cheering hard. She and I will both be wearing maroon and orange, despite all of her family's allegiances, and although I'll still be respectful, I like to think I've got a little more leeway to talk smack now.
I think they have the talent to knock off Clemson. It will also be the first time Clemson has played a legitimately talented team in a true road game since 2014 (2015 Louisville game they didn't even play Lamar), so it's been awhile since they played a dangerously talented team in a true road environment.

Dude, look at our future schedules...starting in 2020, we already hit the 8+2 in our scheduling, and some years we have 8+3. Starting in 2022, the other two games are ODU and ECU or FCS. We're not losing a P5 opponent for another. A few might get moved around, but I think the only one that runs the risk of falling off is Wisconsin, but that's only because I don't think they really want to play us, since they've literally pushed that game off for 20 years.
The scheduling mandate would take effect in 2019.
If FSU manages to not make the ACC title game (pretty much unattainable for them now unless they shock Clemson and somehow Louisville loses again and Clemson also loses to another acc school), and not make a New Years Six Bowl... I don't think their boosters would be too happy with him.
Oh I disagree, I think they're a bad team this year and the coaching isn't really helping them out. They have a boatload of talent, but they're tripping all over themselves so far this year. USF gave them more of a game 2 weeks ago than they really should have. To put it lightly, FSU has a lot of issues they need to address. (not just happening to FSU, also happening in the NFL. Look at Carolina and Arizona, two teams that should be lightyears better than the level at which they're playing)
But this is actually a really good thing for the ACC. The perception of FSU is that you don't show up and just beat them, so to see them knocked off by 2 ACC opponents helps the overall image of the conference and makes us look deeper. That win bumped up UNC, and should we beat UNC this week, that will help pump us up.
I was thinking the same thing, but what if LSU strikes first and grabs Jimbo and Texas decides to stick with Strong for another year? FSU could go after Herman.
I don't think that's likely. I think Texas will jump in since there hasn't been much improvement since Strong got there and their great win against ND doesn't look as good now that ND is just ordinary. Speaking of ND, I wonder if they think about jumping into the coaching search as well. Imagine ND and Texas both going after the same candidate.

And some of those scheduled games have been moved...what's to say a game scheduled 2 years from now doesn't get moved and leave us high and dry?
VT would have no problem filling those remaining slots if the league goes to 8+2 because VT is going to put butts in seats.
yeah, okay. What about Wake Forest? Are they going to have an easy time finding teams to fill those remaining slots? Cuz they definitely are not guaranteed to put butts in seats. You can't think solely of your team...each team in the conference must be considered...this isn't a VT-centric league.
I've always thought of Muschamp as more of a man-ssiere than a bro.
I'm considering going to the game because tickets are cheap and it looks like there are plenty available. I'd rather sit with fellow Hokies. Do you know what sections are the visitor sections?

Its interesting to think.
So lets say this all plays out, and Strong is out at Texas. Then you have LSU and Texas with job openings (yep, glad we aren't in this mess this year) and one true unicorn out there in Herman. LSU is great and SEC and all, but Texas is the better opening with the bigger pockets, so I see Herman going there. LSU is then left with the guy they wanted last year in Jimbo. Assuming this plays out, this leaves FSU with an opening and no real great candidates to turn to. Maybe Chris Petersen at Washington or David Shaw at Stanford, but would either want to leave what they have currently set up? I would normally put Fedora in that list, but I don't see him bolting for another ACC job.
FSU boosters have to secretly be in panic mode right now, because this could blow up in their face... fast.
This isn't about games that are, for the most part, already scheduled. This is a long-term thing.
Teel laid out part of the problem - with the B1G, Pac-12, and Big XII already having a 9 game schedule, those schools only need to fill one other slot to meet the requirement of 10 P5 games. That's currently 36 teams who would only need to find 1 P5 game.
If the ACC & SEC are 8+2, that's 28 teams who would need to find a combined 56 games against other P5 programs.
Things get extremely difficult if teams from the B1G, Pac-12 and Big XII only end up scheduling their 1 required P5 game.
