Yep, this kid has a great highlight video. From his Freshman year. When he was 14 years old. Or 13.

I'm thinking the school needs to offer one of those fan experience deals as a fundraising incentive where you get to hang out and drink beer with Vance Vice. And maybe watch Roadhouse or Smokey and the Bandit.

It's funny how things have changed since the early 2000's, as far as my experience goes. I got into Engineering with a GPA that was closer to 3.2 (I don't even recall what mine was, because I never cared).

Curious, I saw nothing but a clear overthrow on Ford's part on the play. Even Bucky isn't long enough to lay out for that pass. Quite right on the TD ball, he should have caught that one.

He's committed to App State and is pretty big on them. I watched some game clips on his phone and the kid plays solid DE, but nothing to write home about. He needs to gain A LOT of weight and keep his speed up. His biggest upside is his pursuit, but he's not playing against speedsters. If he decides to come to Tech, he might do really well on special teams.
Funny story from the conversation: North Rowan played Statesville HS and an OL there has accepted an offer to Georgia Southern. That OL pancaked the shit out of DeBose on a play and says, You better get used to 4 years of that.

Yeah I typically go man to man even on 3rd and long, except if I'm playing a mobile QB. Then I'll do a cover 2 sink or rush 5 with a cover 2 or 3

My son goes to Dorman "University" now. We have watched Jacoby blossom over the past few years. He is fast, solid route runner and catches with his hands.
