My daughter and son in law (both Hokies) entered their wedding reception hall to Enter Sandman. Very Cool.

Speaking of the bathrooms, a friend of mine (bigger guy) had to essentially go into a urinal perpendicular and just kinda shimmy his way into position. Everything about that stadium is meant for small people and small-time football.

A few years back two good Hokie friends of mine were getting married and I got them a replica lunchpail with a personalized autograph from Bud. You used to be able to buy them on Bud's lunchpaildefense.com site although I don't see it anymore. If you're crafty though, making your own lunchpail (finding a cheap lunchpail like this, beating it a bit with a hammer, spray painting it black, and painting VT on the side) would be a unique, very Hokie gift.

Candlesticks always make a nice gift. Maybe you find out where she's registered and get a place setting or a silverware pattern. OK, let's get two.

Is manti te'o 's GF going to be leading the cheerleading squad?

One thing I noticed was how much I miss being in college and knowing the girls were my age

I'm not sure, but that is totally something I've considered doing. I'm almost positive it will be played at the reception. We did get the DJ to play "Enter Sandman" at the Groom's sister's wedding. She went to Penn State. That went over really well.

This isn't a suggestion, but will the bride be walking down the aisle to "Enter the Sandman"??

I think if Houston goes undefeated it'll be because Lamar Jackson gets hurt between now and then. But if their big wins (OK and Louis) are devalued, they will probably get passed by a 1-loss major conference champion.

the bored announcers during the Houston game beat this to death. One though the only way for Houston to make it was for Louisville to win the ACC, with their only loss being to Houston. The other felt any P5 conference champion with 1 loss would get in over them, even under that scenario. Not that the announcers have any say, but if that is the ESPN promotional line it will sway the public opinion. I agree that how OU does in a down conference will have a real impact if they do beat Louisville, but in watching that game Uconn is bad, and Houston is more flawed than most other contenders.

Mine wasn't even early 2000's haha, it was 2010. But it definitely is changing, although I think if the proposed increase in student population kicks in we're in for a lot of kids with lower GPA's than that getting in.

Primarily PC (though I own a PS4 as a media box and for Bloodborne)

Steam ID: Cruithear

Multiplayer games: Mostly EVE Online, though I do play Crusader Kings 2 sometimes and Paragon on PS4 very occasionally. I stick to single player otherwise.

Not much time to game since having a baby, but I still like to open EVE in the background sometimes =).
