Hey, I live in Arlington and love beer too! Haven't brewed anything in a while, but planning on buying some stuff and starting up again soon. Last batch was a Nut Brown Ale last winter. Still have a few bottles of it in the back of the fridge.
Speaking of - If you haven't been to the Westover Market, then you need to go. It's my favorite place in the world 2nd only to the Vintage Cellar.
edit - sours/ are my wife's favorite thing. I can't stomach most of them (i think the sugar or yeast or something in them makes me sick), but she drinks them all the time. I haven't found anything else I don't like though!
Take it from me, this guy's meat is really.........swell.
I'll see myself out now.
Hey guys, I'm Tommy. Grew up in Unionville, VA (Part of the great metropolis of Orange County). Currently in North Chesterfield/Greater RVA area. I like chillin with my broz, craft beer, and all the memes. And I don't use /s as often as I should because I can't turn my sarcasm off
I'm Todd. I grew up in Bluefield (the VA side) and played for the mighty G-Men of Graham back in the old days. I've lived in Atlanta suburbs for the past 20 years (since graduation) and work as an IT consultant. My day typically consists of waking up, getting a cup of coffee and working out of my home office 95% of the time...no commute in Atlanta is a fantastic way way to live. I have three kids ranging from 20 to 8 and that's where all my free time goes toward. My daughter (born at Montgomery Regional) always wanted to go to VT like her old man did, but since she earned a full academic ride to any public university in Georgia, she started her Junior year at UGA a few months ago. My 15 year old just started high school and although he's more into baseball and basketball, he goes to school with one of the QB's that VT is recruiting. And our 8 year old is just awesome. My wife and I try to get back home to see VT play as much as we can, but that's only about once every couple of years (last season's Ohio State game being the last one we went to). My favorite VT football moment has always been Druck to Holmes in the '95 UVA game. Considering where we were as a program and what that season meant, it's hard to top that in my mind.
Yeah, The Weiner's Circle was my goto place for dogs. Sad to see them go.
Word. Is Elon the connection she has with Whit? Or are you unlucky enough to know Blake?
I haven't kegged but I know some guys who have. I just don't really have the space for anything like that. I've just been bottling really. Tried a growler brew about a year and a half ago and it turned out like ass, so i'm sticking with bottles for now. haha
side note: if anyone in Arlington knows of anyone selling some supplies let me know (or has any!). I'm currently running the poor man's soup pot and 5gal fermentation bucket method. lol
Girlfriend wants to try to brew some sours so I'll have to ask you for some tips in the future!

As in, not often he will go through like 3 or 4 checks to find an open guy on the other side of the field.
This doesn't happen in most spread offenses, so yes. Clemson doesn't do this, Oregon doesn't do this, etc.
Nah, originally from Lexington, NC, alum and softballed at Louisville, now entering PT school at Elon in January.
I'm Matt. Maryland native and now reside in Arlington. Got married to my wife, who is also a Hokie, in Blacksburg last April. I went to Tech following my sister, cousin, and uncle, graduated from CEE in 2013 and now am a Consulting Engineer in the DC Metro Area.
My main interests consist of anything VT, beer, music (mainly Bluegrass, Blues, and Country), and lots and lots of hockey.

Try the Wiener Circle in Herndon at intersection of Sunset Hills and Herndon Parkway. Nevermind, someone just beat me to it and I did not realize they had closed.

My name is Sonny. I grew up in Cincinnati but my older brother taught me to love the Hokies. Graduated from TOSU last May and work for an airline in Dallas now. I love craft beer (particularly three floyds), fantasy football, and traveling.
