It really helps so much. And the nice things is that if you have nothing else in the fridge, you can even let it control to higher temperatures. I had it control at 72F for a Hefeweizen I made since I'm very particular about temperature for weizens.

Absolutely! We just moved to the greater DC area about a year ago, and need to find other Hokies (not to mention, fellow TKP'ers) to catch games with. Hoping to make it over to First Down this month for a game or two!

You should come up with a clever screen name to express these interests.

Ya I just don't see it. Don't think I can think of a team he'd be our clear cut #1. Fuller, Davis etc. even when we were complaining about our WR group were better that season than I've seen out of Phillips thus far. He's a very solid player and has benefited from us having 0 depth at WR IMO, but he's a #2 or #3 guy.

He just bothers me. Bothers the hell out of me really. Got famous for not acting well on SNL.

Well let your inner-child come out because you have peaked my interest.

Re: 1) Cover 2 zone would mess it up. If the QB read cover 2 (corner to flat, linebacker sinking under the slant) he would need to change the play.

2) the DL is overshifted away from the double backs. The linebackers are overshifted to them. In theory, you would still be ok. I think the D makes the adjustment because ECU had not shown anything else from that formation. It would take a detailed re-watch of Tennessee, BC, and ECU to see if that shift is consistent. I will take a look as soon as my day-job travel eases up.

Richmond folks, if you are close enough to the Ashland area on a Tuesday, we go to Kreggers near Kings Charter almost every week. They have the best deal on craft brews around doing what they call Tier Tuesday. Beers 5% and below are 2 bucks, 5-7% 3 bucks, and 7% and up only 4 bucks. Their draft selection is usually on point, and their food is quite good as well.

That's a different argument, how good is Phillips on a team or in a program committed to the pass. But considering VT's dearth of quality WR's in our past, he's still likely top 10 all time.

I'm just making the case that if he played in a different era, he would be our clear #1. Like I said, I loved Bryan Still but I'm not sure he was any better than Phillips and Still was a great player for VT.

Oh wow, looks like there's quite a few Henry County natives here - there are dozens of us, dozens!!!

I grew up in Bassett, too!

When he was on Saturday Night Live, he was the first cast member who was clearly overdependent on cue cards.

I'm Brian and I live in Richmond. I grew up in Staunton. I used to post way more but life just gets in the way.

I'm always looking for people to play some golf with in the area!

I live in Richmond too! Always looking for a new drinking buddy or golf buddy (both works too!).

If you come to First Down for a game, look me up and we can discuss fishing. Finding people in Northern Virginia who like fishing can be challenging.

A chest freezer or something like it is to be one of my next steps so I can do some climate controlled cold brewing. I really want to start lagering. That is my next step.

Check out K-1 too, in Arlington (Westmont area). It looks sketch on the outside, but the promised land, I swear, is within.
