It seemed to me that Adonis stopped playing the receiver and turned to look for the ball. Lost both the ball and the receiver. Did anyone else see that? Or was I imagining it with all the 'man defenders play the receiver' talk?
Tennessee is one of my favorite places in spite of the University of Tennessee. It is more gorgeous every time I go there. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are amazing places to visit. I was incredibly close to having a full time job in Pigeon Forge just a couple of years ago, and still to this day regret not getting it.
I love going back because I still run into the same people I knew all my life. That Sheetz in Ridgeway is a hotbed of social activity.

I didn't go to Virginia Tech, but I went to my first game when I was 4 years old and I've been as much of a fan as anyone else since then. My favorite places in the world are Blacksburg and Charleston, SC. Summer and Fall are my favorite seasons. The Cheesecake Factory is my favorite restaurant, and I enjoy traveling, tailgating, and days spent on South Holston Lake. I enjoy blogging about books and TV shows (The 100 is my favorite, watch it). I hate Winter, Mondays, and The University of Tennessee and its obnoxious fans. That's about covers everything.

I'll offer up some interesting Hokie related things about me.
My great uncle is Dr. Akers in the dairy science department and if you've ever had him for an undergrad class, you probably hate him. Because of him Virginia Tech has always been in my life. In my first school picture in Kindergarten I am wearing a Virginia Tech rugby shirt.
My wife and I are Hokie alumni and our daughter was delivered by a Hokie. We say she's a purebred Hokie. She can go to any college she wants to (except for UVA, UNC, and Tenn), but if she doesn't go to Tech I am secretly going to be very disappointed.
Dang! Hope you feel better! There's been some crazy stuff going around my office - strange for this time of year, I think.
I didn't realize how much Ekanem contributed to that block. I read where Settle said it but it wasn't until you see the slow mo that you actually see it. Ken blew up that blocker.

Theoretically I think opinion shouldn't really matter. We should upvote anything that we feel contributes to discussion regardless of what our or the commenters opinions are. Realistically, it's extremely difficult to not upvote things you agree with more than things you don't.
Conversely, we downvote things that shouldn't be on here: trolling, pointless bickering, condescension, comments that just add noise and nothing else. Simple differences of opinion, to me, don't meet any of those criteria so I don't downvote them.
I will be having some cherry pie this evening to balance the Force.
It's not game week, eshiben, but what can we expect in the greater DC area over the next 48 - 72 hours? I see that we are under a Flash Flood watch... clouds up here are crazy today - moving from east to west.

Thanks French. I suppose that's why they say games are won and lost on in-game adjustments. I'm surprised ECU never gave a man-coverage look but then switched to cover 2 and tried to force Jerod into a mistake.
I'm even more surprised ECU's OC never picked up on Bud's alignment and ran that QB power play to the strong side. Obviously they would have had to practice that, you probably can't run a play for the first time based solely on in-game adjustments if you haven't practiced it. But still, seems like they may have had something there if they ran that, and then that would have prevented Bud from overloading either side in the future to open up the weak-side play. The same way we used the throwback and WR pass play to open up the speed option.
Of course, that's just the opinion of a fan that doesn't know much, fair to assume Bud and ECU OC probably know something i don't.

With the little bro in Arlington, now, I will make it up there for an away game and go to First Down. He went for his first time during Boston College and said he enjoyed it and the food.
