And if he does, he should get to wear it again next week. If not, look for the guy who threw the block that sprung 'im.

That is some crap gas tank construction, ethanol did people a favor there.

I knew HokieGirl was from my old stomping grounds, but I didn't know krak_t and WiseHokie were.

It now dawns on me that WiseHokie's screen name has nothing to do with wisdom...

And I've wanted a tagging/notification system for a while, but it would probably be a PITA to develop for an already overworked Joe.

I agree, its part of the TKP gameday lead-up tradition. All that is missing is "Foe" Rensics, but I assume FifthFuller is just going to repost last year's, or the year before that, or the year before that, etc. ad infinitum. I mean the guy is a BS virtuoso, but even Beethoven only wrote nine symphonies.

The #4 jersey was retired for Steve Fuller. Watson wanted to wear that number so Dabo asked permission from Fuller to unretire and to have a patch honor Fuller.

Who would we rather play? To me the goal of non-acc games is to get prepared for your conference games. Playing liberty and other scrubs doesn't do that. ECU IMO is a perfect game to get ready for ACC play as they would be competitive in the conference themselves, and yes I am biased.

They also stepped up when we needed to find a team to schedule due to not going to 9 ACC games and no one ever gives them credit for that.

Couple of years ago we went through this quite extensively

IIRC it was grad students at Harvard did a study of points scored vs starting position. Statistically starting at the 17 yd line is the same as starting at the 25.

The advantage being that with a sure handed guy like Stroman, the risk of something bad happening is small.

The opportunity for a big return is a good incentive to come out with it.

If I had to guess, just the East, for the quick and easy photo op to use in recruiting and fundraising efforts....

Kind of like this, but with an actual good school

I know a shitload of people that were never accepte or had money or opportunity to go to big university. They busted their ass to go to a for-profit and/or online university.

Most working fulltime jobs and carrying family responsibilities. They got the degree they could and worked hard for it. Does their degree devalue my degree?

Answer: Hell no

Because no matter what anyone tells you, the value of your education and the degree associated with it is only what you make of it. If you went to VT and have done nothing with it then its as worthless as any degree of any online offering anywhere.

I (for one) really like this new tradition. Kinda cool and gets the campus involved. Really liked when they ran it down to Bristol. Just wished they hadn't dropped it so many times on the way down...got the ball used to being on the ground!

...and 0:45...

There isn't a CFB coach today cooler than Vance Vice. Plus, I don't think you can sit down and have a beer with Coach Vice. I think you sit down and have 8 or 9 beers with Coach Vice.

That may be one reason, but the major reason I remember hearing was the 07 ECU game...Sean was booed off the field by the fans and if memory serves me correctly Mike was there and actively being recruited by VT.
