I would just much rather be playing a random group of five team. Let's get some variety instead of the same non-conference opponent. I hate that we play ECU more often than conference opponents.

This just in from the AP: Greg Schiano (Jersey Driver) hits a bicyclist sending the bicyclist to the hospital with a head injury...

He was born and raised in NJ and is a tried and true NJ driver.

Thoughts and prayers to the injured student.

Greg Schiano hits Bike Rider

How many of VT's KO returns get to the 25 yard line? It seems to me that Stro often catches them on the goalline and gets to the 22.

It's great that Slye is kicking them through the endzone and nullifying the return risk. But I wonder if on KO's, is VT actually starting in worse average position than our opponents? Starting every drive on the 25 yard line for the VT KO return team sounds like a good deal to me.

Whisky and da points.
Pitt + points. (I think they'll win outright. Everybody needs to share the whole WTF thing that goes with playing the Panthers regularly.)
UTK covers, and fuck UTK.
Fighting Harbaughs cover this like a king size flannel blanket on a cold snowy night.
You mean I can have Stanford plus a FG and half a PAT? Stanford for me please.
Aggies cover. Aggies looking pretty good so far.

Scottie thinks that Tennessee's T is the best entrance in College Football, and insists that a Benz is always better than a Beamer.

I played in and taught drumlines, too. I guess I'm supposed to hate my wife, but we actually met while teaching at the same high school. I think the drumline/guard rivalry is only a high school thing. After that, they're pretty ok.

Why are we calling them "tops"? Doesn't exactly strike fear in the hearts of the enemy.

Can we call them "jerseys"?

I'm sure you must be proud. My dad never got to read a film review about me on TKP, or hear an entire stadium yell my name ~8 times a game. Make sure he knows there's plenty more where that came from if-and only if- he keeps this up. We do love us some Mook!

And men's soccer is back inside the top 20 as well, only loss so far this season was at #1 Notre Dame.

I'll drink when I get home from work...

I think the three-headed monster that he helps form along with Travon and Shai has the makings of a dangerous, complimentary group a la Ryan Williams, Darren Evans and David Wilson.

That trio never really panned out as much as I thought it would. We were sharp in 2010, but Ru was working with injuries, Darren never really recovered from his injury, and Wilson couldn't get enough carries. I think Juice, Travon, and Shai have a chance at being a better threesome than RDD.

Don't forget, our men's soccer team - which we usually choose to ignore, for good reason - is now ranked top-20 nationally. What a time to be alive.
