I think you're right about BC. Once you're up by 4+ touchdowns, it doesn't hurt to take your foot off the gas a bit and burn some clock.

It's a directTV thing. I got that channel (like "The Mountain" or something?) but I don't get NBC29 from Charlottesville.
I absolutely love it. The walk back after the game gives everyone time to get the heck out of Dodge so that there's no traffic by the time we head out.

Its been a few years now, you may not remember the plays Cody Grimm made. He was making plays that won us games on the way to ACC championships. He was one of the best. Mook Reynolds is playing very good right now and looks well on his way to being a star, but he has a long ways to go to accomplish what Grimm did.

If your cable box doesn't let you, do you have a zoom option on your TV? We have xfinity at work, but because it was a free hookup, they only have us SD. But I have the TV set up to zoom in. I'll doublecheck today to see if there's an option in the cable box.

I don't think a whip "helps them out" as much as the DE's, linebackers, whips, and corners, wehn asked to be the edge player, help the alley players by being where they are supposed to be. Bud's defense is fluid. Yes, there are positions as we know them. There are also assignments and each defensive call features edge and alley defenders. This year, I have seen DE's, the backer, the whip, and the corners all playing a force or spill technique depending on call and formation.

The snap pace going down is interesting. I thought the offense would need additional time and reps to gradually increase pace as the season went on. I assume the rate dropped against Tennessee because of the problems and the last thing you want to do with fumbling problems is ask people to press harder. Against Boston College, maybe the rate dropped simply because we didn't need to go hurry up. Fuente has stated time-and-time again that he doesn't want to go fast at the expense of the defense and I can only assume that was at play.

I swear Florida drivers took some kind of "creative driving" course which the rest of sane humanity can't even fathom. And yes, India traffic is crazier but EVERYONE is on the same level there, so it's better.
