Minor question, but is there any rhyme or reason to the color/shape of the plot points in the first graph? God I hope there isn't any obvious or easy answer, cause I can't for the life of me see any correlation amongst the like colored/shaped points...

Yeah, somehow the young receiver's route running (or lack there of) saved the QB in that situation, but it's definitely not a form that'll make it in the pros

French - I appreciate the compliment, thanks and I'm a big fan of your columns and analysis...look forward to it every week.
I'm not sure Whit and the athletic department will care about a petition after going through a university-wide rebranding effort, but we will only know if we try
Quick question for anyone with Xfinity.
Is there any way to zoom in to remove the letterbox formatting (black bars top and bottom) from SD feeds on the X1? My local ACC Network affiliate doesn't broadcast in HD and the letterbox formatting annoys me.
I don't get the big deal. Orange is one of our colors. It pops on TV and with the stands being Orange and our opponent having no Orange, it will really look nice.
I don't care what the endzone is painted like as long as there is a party of happy offensive lineman picking up a skill position player in the air after a touchdown, at least 5 times next game.
Edit: As long as it is not Teller holding Rogers in the air, because I'm pretty sure that would ripe a hole in the space-time contiuem
Thanks for the suggestions. I would imagine people are tailgating on the train as well???
That is how the wife and I will be getting there and back. Need to find a top-notch thermos to pack some hot beverage and liquor. Any recommendations anyone? Does YETI make one that is worth the $$$?
Mook's nick should be The Grimm Fuller.
Can. Not. Wait... To see him unleashed on Paul Johnson.
Exactly. There is no downside to that philosophy and I believe it promotes more team unity. An example of this would be the defense getting juiced in support of the offense and vice versa. There is too much parity to not have that mindset.
Honestly, the only research was to make sure I was remembering things right. (Sometimes I remember too much little random stuff.)
I did get a little confused, because I remember playing at Clemson on their Military Appreciation Day, but I didn't remember it being in 2012, because the last Clemson games I remember were in 2011. And I forgot that it was that recently that we actually did back to back games with Atlantic teams not named Boston College.

Totally blanked out on that one.
But that was also the weekend my first kid was due, so I was feeling lucky that I even got to see that game. (As it happened, kid didn't pop out until the following Wednesday.)
That would give us 2 top 75 recruits for the 2017 class!
Actually Scottie knows, he just choses to ignore it

See, that's just a terrible throwing motion. Way too careless with the ball. You have to keep the focus to make sure you connect when going for the long pass

Better time would be had taking the south shore line from the loop to South Bend Airport. Plenty of cabs/Uber from there to campus. It's a good party and lots of fans. Longer day but still worth it.
The Harrisonburg station hasn't been listed since week 1. And it was a sub-sub-channel or something like that.
Honestly, if you're that close to Harrisonburg, odds are there's another (better) station that you can pick up.
I like this a lot, especially the VR recruiting for two reasons. One, it helps to eliminate the challenge of distance between Blacksburg and the major metros. Two, I always like when we can apply what the school is known for into our other programs. As a public technical and engineering school, VT should be leading the way with advances in all aspects related to the university. The things that can apply to sports and other more visible elements only speed up the outreach of the university to the state. Use the classroom prowess to gain cross-departmental advantages. Love it!

You could say the hounds in scouting at ESPN would ultimately tear him apart
