They basically said that if they scored 24 points then it was time to just run out the clock. I was disturbing to hear it come from Glennon and Holts mouth. If your on either side of the ball especially the offense, you want to score points and be the side of the ball that wins the game.

Per this article they are not looking to press charges.

The students who said they plan on meeting with police don't want the Miami players charged, but want to prevent what they say happened to them happening to someone else.

Martin was satisfied when the head of University of Miami athletics sent a letter to the group.
"We got a written apology from the athletic director in Miami, so I think that's all we really needed," Martin said.

"I don't want to hurt their future," Randleman said. "I don't want to do anything. I just want them to know that everybody deserves to be respected, regardless of your affiliation. That's not something you should be able to get away with."

The offense held back the program for years while we had elite defenses.

Many people could see (even when we were winning 10 games) that the offense was not good enough and we were winning in spite of it. Having guys like Tyrod, Ryan Williams, David Wilson, etc. was just putting lipstick on a pig. Once we stopped getting those big recruits (at the same time the competition in the ACC was getting better), we started to struggle.

My name is not Mark, I am not from Winchester and my name is not pronounced Kevin.

This is also one of the reasons why the offensive staff changes in 2013 were doomed to failure. We changed scheme, but we didn't change our offensive philosophy. It was still wanting the offense to score just enough to win. That mentality set the table for failure. When you have a culture of low expectations for the offense, the offense won't be able to respond when it is actually on them to win the game.

It's a great point about Evans. He's not going to be satisfied with a four point win. He comes from a culture of scoring every time out, so he already shares Fuente's philosophy.

Thanks. This reinforces everything we've heard about Frank's offensive philosophy.

A blind spot in an otherwise sterling resume that explains some pretty questionable decisions in terms of hiring and retention for the offense.

Much as I would like to pile on here, I'm going to stick to my personal rule to wait until all the facts are in before making any conclusions.

I would not be against our primary jerseys being all maroon with these helmets. dear lord those are phucking nice

Not sure where to post this, but it was just announced today that Trump is coming to Roanoke for a 6 pm rally Saturday night at the Civic Center. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up because it could impact traffic if you have to head north on 81 after the game.
