Guys in front of and beside me last week easily went through 3 or 4 programs to fuel their paper airplanes.

Gave the Virginia Ale a shot last weekend. Don't think I'm going to get the chance to try or drink much craft this weekend. Might be Natty Light for breakfast on Saturday.

The Fisher House is a great charity.

Like bluehokie2006 said, it provides lodging to families of injured military members who are getting medical treatment when the facility isn't close to their home. Local military and community members also chip in and bring meals sometimes. It's really a nice thing to do for service members who are receiving treatment.

"Oh, that's the cute place where they throw the paper airplanes in the fourth quarter, how quaint." Or do you want them to remember Enter Sandman, and have them sh&$(#ng themselves at the thought of playing in the Terror Dome??

I want them to already be headed to the parking lot before the fourth quarter gets underway.

Let's be honest, though. No pocket passer was developing much behind that O line Logan was stuck with.

the ratio stays infinite

The math nerd in me wants to point out that the ratio is also expressible as 49:0, reduced to 1:0, or also as undefined. Which you choose depends on the meaning you want to derive.

White Out started first, in 2008, and that is where the first version of our current uniforms started (with all of the throwback elements).

In 2012, White Out became White Effect (for the Austin Peay game), and Military Appreciation Day started across the ACC in the same year (for us, it was the Bowling Green game).

In the meantime, VTCC started Corps Homecoming. I think the first time they did it was in 2004, for the UVA game. After that, they moved it back into September, usually for the second or third weekend. As a result, it often fell on the same game as White Out.

Since 2013, White Effect and Military Appreciation have been the same game. But I think the only time that white uniforms implemented the military appreciation was in 2013 (with the orange digi camo) and 2014 (with the red, white, and blue VT).

According to the Hokie Catalog that I ordered the white shirts from this year, a portion of the proceeds went to the Fisher House, which provides free or low cost lodging to veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers. (Totally googled the last part).
