We could flood the Dook stadium with Hokie fans rooting for Dook. That would be pretty funny
I'm familiar with the term. What I'm not familiar with is whether it actually means anything.
Being a dark horse to be a candidate to be a Heisman finalist covers a lot of ground.
Grew up in VA, enrolled at VT before taking a year off (graduated as I just turned 17 and wasn't ready for college) and family moved to north Carolina so lost in-state tuition. Kept in touch with coaches at ECU and walked-on. Never played and had 2 knee surgeries out of it, but did have 3 years on the track and field team. Ended up graduating from NC State, so it's a complex fan/cheering situation between the 3 teams but VT has always been my preferred school.
Yep.... outside receiver slant, slot fades to the outside over and over and over and over and over...
Deleted due to lack of reading comprehension.
I'm sure they're expecting to see more zone. What I don't know is how much that will matter...

Small nit to pick. TKP always seems to refer to "Bud's defense", and "Fuente's offense". Is Fuente calling the plays or Cornelsen? I know they are Fuente's concepts, but shouldn't Coach Corn get some credit for the play calling sequence?
Great analysis as usual, BTW!
very weird! Im in the top 10 in Best of Lynchburg if that narrows it down. And I'm definitely not Sam Stroud.
I'm not a teacher and don't know any.
We've had this discussion before, and my advice then still applies. Assuming you don't hook up with the Asspocket, a great way to get the tix is to bring the kids around like suggested, make sure you are all wearing Hokie gear, then troll the high dollar lots close to the stadium asking everyone you can at the tailgates. Like the man said up above, getting the tickets together can be tougher, but while nobody wants to leave a seat empty or a ticket unused, it always seemed to me that the higher rollers were less likely to try to hold you up and more likely not to actively try to sell the ticket while being absolutely amenable to selling them. Good luck and let us know how you solve the problem.
She married me, how smart is she really?
That may go up as Tech keeps winning
Hey, my seats are great for kids. To the restroom or concession stand in 1 minute or less or your money back.
I have always been interested in how the "I need tickets" guys make money. I have sold my extra tickets to them a few times and they have always immidiatley offered me face value for each ticket. But when people ask them if they have tickets to sell, they say no.
As for buying tickets, if you have the patience, wait till you are walking into the stadium. Usually people are so desperate to dump their extra tickets, they will take whatever you offer.
Having experienced all of the above, I'll just say NM drivers take the cake. (Which is OK if there is pie to counter it)
I've always understood the basic requirement of an unbalanced set is three offensive lineman to either side of the center, e.g. TE G C G T T. For the play above, I would say it's an unbalanced line, tackle over. Perhaps it's a terminology disagreement, although I have Bob Davie in my corner: http://assets.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/davie/1463998.html.

We have a TKP Ticket Board that you can check out as well

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College Nice play concept. And I completely understand the thought process behind using it to loosen up the BC defense. But now teams will be looking for it (which can be a bad thing and a good thing).
I'm not sure I would have wasted it early in the game - or even vs BC at all. But hindsight is 20/20 and everybody - including me and, more importantly Fuente & Co - thought points could be at a premium.
I can see it now... "Dad these are great seats, where did you get the tickets??" "I got them from AssPocketFullOWhiskey!"
Step 1-> Add a new package/couple of plays every week
Step 2-> show enough of (new package) last week that teams will have to plan for it this week
Step 3-> create new package for this week
Step 4 -> use Bucky Rogers driving in a Ford to deliver Doughnuts with a side of Dragon Juice
Step 54-> Profit??

Scottie Montgomery would move Hodges to QB
Worth noting that VT vs. Duke tickets are only $6 on stub hub.
If I wasn't photographing a wedding, I would be there.
wait... I'm shooting a wedding that weekend too. you're from lynchburg as well. This is weird.

Enjoy the experience. Lots to learn, but it is absolutely possible to get into fish your first time. If it doesn't look like you'll get one on a fly, don't give up. Lots of folks will use a fly rod and put a small hook, a little split shot and a little powerbait or salmon egg...heck a red wiggler or a small minnow will work as well. Won't be a trout on a fly, but it'll still be a trout on a fly rod. Gotta start somewhere! Good luck and please do let us know how it go.
