ECU plays a spread and did have some nice plays. For us, we don't want any kind of let down. Like last year, we were winning, and scored enough points but could not stop their running QB, we need to change that by honing on their skill players. I say we play assignment football on D and secure the ball on Offense and we get this win.

As much as I love beamer, I can't help but feel more excited for this game this year with fuente and the new rejuvenated attitude he seems to have brought to the program. The team came out in the 2014 game and seemed to think that they had already won the game because the anOSU win the week before. Then came the "preseason" statement Beamer made last year after the loss and I think this attitude about the game trickled down into the locker room as well the week before in practice. I just don't see that happening with this new staff, you can see the intensity and desire to win in Fuente and I think the players, Espicially the older ones who have experienced the last two losses will want to embarrass Eastern Carolina just like BC.

Sam Rogers waited patiently and drew defenders back to the middle of the field and Augie was playing his man. Maybe there's still some technique problem there but I am not knowledgable enough to say for sure. Based on where the ball seemed to be headed, Contie was in a position to put a hat on a hat.

Yeah at 6'3" 195 he isn't going to be able to take a beating. But he still has a year or two to get a few more pounds on that frame. He'll never be 265 but if he gets to 225 he'll be in good form. As long as he learns to slide!

Wait are you saying that Hurts should or shouldn't be considered better than Evans? Hurts, in my opinion looks like a better player playing for a better team who has taken on a harder schedule than we have thus far.
