Ah I see. Thanks for the explanation!
State dropped 3 sure ints, including 1 that would've been a pick six easy by their inside LB. They also missed two FGs and ran a fake FG on 4th and 1 and didn't convert. ECU more or less was handed that game and should be 1 and 2.
Tech needs to do what they did last week - don't shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties and this will be a solid win.
I think "Help us make UVa a power house" was a mainstay of Groh and London's recruiting pitch. You can't really lose with it because it tells the recruit, "no matter who we have in the program, you are what we need to really put us back on the big stage." It plays into the messiah complex a lot of these athletes have after single handedly making their HS teams a success. And no matter how badly the team does, any high schooler will just tell himself, "it will be different with me because I'm special and the guys who came before me just weren't"
Scotty Montgomery thinks the crying Jordan meme during the Basketball Championship was mean to his fan-base's favorite university.
there's a man who knows how to take care of his family

I just walked out of a Chipotle, my wife needed dinner since Jimmy John's screwed up her order with family dinner at 5:30. True love walking into that cult this late at night.
Nelson is becoming quite the mecca for alcohol production in central virginia. You can't stumble 5 feet without bumping into a vineyard, brewery, or distillery and that's not even counting all the private production going on up in the hollers.
Orange is a really tough color to use as a primary color. I don't think I've seen one that I've ever liked, regardless of team. Tenn uses it out of stubbornness (and I'm convinced, color-blindness).
I can't rightly claim it. I don't know who first said it, but I picked it up from another TKP thread.
here's what I see FIXED. Still pissed about that INT

well now that kid should know what kind of woman to avoid marrying now. If she won't take no for an answer, you'll likely end up with your face in the dirt and a john deere parked on your ass.

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College He is an eligible receiver. According to the rules, a team must have seven players on the line of scrimmage, and either player at the end of the group on the line of scrimmage is considered an eligible receiver. Players on the line of scrimmage, in this case, are Cunningham, our o-line and Bucky (you can barely make out his shoe on top of the screen on clip12) - making Cunningham and Bucky both eligible to receive a pass.
I am not 100% sure about the following, but IIRC there is also no rule that states that the snapper has to be between LG, LT and RT, RG. LG can snap the ball if desired.
Didn't say we've set the world on fire, but when you say arguably one of the best i'm assuming you are talking top 3ish QBs at VT ever. Jerod would have to win an ACC POTY or take us to the BCS most likely to be in that discussion. His start is definitely impressive and more so considering it didn't seem like anyone had separated early in the QB competition, but it's still way too early to make any definitive claims about how good he is. Is there reason to be excited about his play? Absolutely...

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College My old eyes may be playing tricks on me, but it looks like Ford is off the LOS.

.... but you are 100% correct in your statement.

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College No. He is the end man on the line of scrimmage and there is no one covering him up on the outside. CJ is off the line and comes in motion. As stated below, the "TE" is ineligible, because he is covered up by Ford on the line of scrimmage. ^^^ Beat me by 3 seconds!
I enjoy having offensive coaches who can football.
BoCo? as in, "we really BoCo'd LOLUVa in Lane North"
My main concern is that we're riding a bit too high after the BC stomping. It's like we forgot how hard it was for US to score points under loeffler last year. I still think we win this but it might be closer than we'd hope.
We all knew to expect ups and downs this year. We just saw the 'up' last week... If we do win big though all aboard the hype train.
This shows another one of those sneaky routes that are almost picks. 85 crosses between bc13 and where the ball is going, giving tmac an extra step or so.
Eta: sneaky sneaky... his route ties up 2 defenders, as the safety is also having to defend him.
Eta: how many times did we see this play go for nothing over the last few years when the ball didn't lead the back and he had to stop or come back for the pass? Nice to have a qb with the size and touch to get the pass over the defender.
Brewer was a warrior, but his size was a liability on these types plays. Other qbs with the size lacked the touch to make that pass with any sort of consistency.
Bud Fu - I like it! Very ninja-like.
Just when you least expect it, BAM! Bud Fu hits you with a roundhouse kick to the gut in the form of a 70 touchdown pass to Ford followed by a Tim Settle manbearpig sack/strip/fumble recovery/score uppercut to leave you dazed and praying that Sam Rogers isn't coming in on the next offensive series.

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College I can't remember a time when a coach discussed an offensive play demonstrating the how's and the why's to that degree...THAT RESULTED IN A TOUCHDOWN!
We were not one block away on that play!!! Hallelujah!!!!

# | A Second-Look At Travon McMillian's Touchdown Reception Against Boston College No. Nijiman would be ineligible if he didn't declare. That's how I understand the principles. I am sure college rules have some sneaky twist.
The stiff arm didn't really work to well for him.

I certainly don't claim to know but according to this it seems like it should be.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ineligible_receiver_downfield
"Ineligible receivers include the center, offensive guards, and offensive tackles.". Cunningham is lined up at tackle and doesn't attempt to block anyone.Nvm, HokiesAllDaWay has a good explanation below.
