Why do people hate on stroman? He is a pretty good return man. Not the most electric we have seen at Tech, but very solid. And we have now seen a second coaching staff agree he is the best man for the job.
Was thinking about WR depth this morning when listening to Bitter's podcast. They said something along the lines of having a lot of wide out options allowing us to open up the run game etc. Its weird to think that we have a lot of WR options a year removed from having literally just 2 last year. Some of y'all stated that the main 3 are still getting the bulk of playing time which is true but I feel like when you have Phillips Hodges and Ford all on the field plus Rogers, Dragon, or additional wide out....that's a shit ton to account for leaving some nonstarters with pretty open looks..slightly scary to scheme against with that many play makers.
Also, CJ Carroll is my dude and he is gonna kill it this year. He may be that sure hand slot receiver that burns em!

I bet that our showing last Saturday has them nervous.
Because he isn't better than Stroman? Carroll had a few decent returns in the 4th quarter when BC had all but given up. He had an unreal amount of room on both his punt returns.
In Stroman we have a proven entity that has sure hands and his first instinct, once securing the ball, is to go up field in search of a hole, not sideways or backwards.
It takes a lot of big round ones to do that consistently.
