This never gets old.

This site makes it so much more fun to watch VT football.

I see Peoples at HB line up to the left. I say (out loud...no one else in the room) "the ball should follow Peoples".

Then I watch Teller open a hole, I see Peoples run through said hole and block the LB, and I see McMillian follow Peoples through the hole and score.

Then I say (also out loud), "heh, heh, heh, heh".

While I would absolutely love to see them go winless, it's a lot more likely they pull out a win or two against CMU/Wake/Duke. I don't think they get their annual "wtf just happened" win over Miami or Pitt. I just don't think they have it in them. On the other hand, I think CMU used up their magic against Ok St, Wake is awful still, and Duke is stinking it up having lost Sirk.

I wish we'd give each of them a few series in a row and really see what we have. Still prefer having 1 guy at RB with a 2nd that can take maybe 20-25% of the snaps and a specialist/short yardage/goal line type of guy.

Really expected shai to get more run, but the last run he had for negative yardage something didn't look right compared to how he'd been running earlier this season. Could have been the 3-4 guys in the backfield on that long drawn out player but he looked tentative in making a cut.

who exactly did lefty recruit that is paying dividends? Most QB's he recruited are gone (Jackson Rs'ing, durking at TE). If you are talking about ford or cam he didn't recruit either of them. Bucky? Not him either. Wyatt? That's Bud Foster's recruit. Giving him more credit than he deserves saying he recruited all this talent. When we even have guys like CJ carroll out there making plays it's hard to take this post seriously. Scheme, play calling, etc. are helping to make even our talented guys look even better. Something lefty could NEVER do.

This one hits right in the feels. Beamer's first retirement home game, with his wife, and BILL ROTH is taking the damn picture. All they need is Morgan Freeman doing the voiceover and we'll all be crying enough to fill Mountain Lake back up.

It's understandable to lose a few all games after a coaching change.

I mean, even Georgia, Miami and VT are...never mind, LOLUVA.

As a guy with a 13 month old, this is my daily ritual.

I may change it for the season to "BooHoo WaHoo"

Nothing would scare me more than an 0-11 loluva coming into Lane

And then you realize that it's loluva.

Then your saviors are just no fun.

Pfffft. I'm not rid of it. I'll never be less stubborn. Never.

VT offense, 2012: 83rd yards/game, 83rd pts/game, 68th in S&P+, 86th FEI
VT offense, 2013: 103rd yards/game, 101st pts/game, 93rd S&P, 92nd FEI
VT offense, 2014: 99th yards/game, 94th pts/game, 85th S&P, 112th FEI
VT offense, 2015: 74th yards/game, 53rd pts/game, 72nd S&P, 94th FEI

The advanced metrics recognize that VT in 2015 played Purdue and Tulsa, two completely inept defenses and got 22 more points from 5 overtimes (4OT vs Duke, 1 OT vs NC). Without those overtime possessions and worthless defenses VT's raw stats would look just like his previous two efforts. No one views him as a savior because he took a bad offense and made it worse. Most saviors don't demonstrate their genius by burning their village to the ground.

I've put some thought into this, I honestly think they're best shot at winning is against Wake or Duke. I just can't see them beating CMU this week
