There is also nap time for the kids. Yea for ease of watching on TV noon is best.

only thing I don't like about this game being a nooner is that its homecoming. that means parade. tailgate. bookstore. driving to the game. all have to be done in a max of 5 hours. that's just not enough time.

A well coached/executed offense makes it look easy.
I can't wait to read French's take, but Fuente's offense keeps the D off guard by running different plays off the same basic looks, as you said.
It's like the bizzaro offense for us....we've had years of multiple fronts and pre-snap shifts, then break downs of the same basic plays.

I'm not sure our fan base will be able to deal......

how exactly does the acc network work, seeing as how it isn't a legit channel like the BTN.

I think it was a good football play. Period. Yes, the explanation "fits" the rule, but that doesn't mean the rule is written correctly or called consistently. Those are different arguments for sure.

Safety is becoming a generic term. If safety was truly paramount, we would be watching some form of flag football.

As topic creator said, this is but a footnote to the game. That is a huge plus. It is a call that did not create a swing in momentum nor influence the outcome. I suppose talking about this call instead of botched plays, false starts, and delay of game penalties is a good problem to have.

I'm no expert, but watching the game it seemed there wasn't anything particularly "crafty" with the offense. Instead, it looked like we just had solid execution and enough variations on a theme to keep BC off balance. And it was glorious to watch.

Driving from Bristol always makes noon games a pain, but I wouldn't miss a single one for the world.

The anOSU victory was running around my thought process. Loeffler had more rough games than good ones and left us frustrated and confused on several occasions, but he did orchestrate the offensive game plan for one of the biggest wins in program history.

I say let him be. I was certainly relieved at the outcome yesterday. It was the most enjoyable time I've had at Lane in several years, sad as that is to say, during the regular season. Insert preseason joke here.

He has moved on, and so has VT. We should also.

I gotta 3.5 hr drive to the game and nooners do have some benefits.
You can hang out more after the game ends. Also you don't have to head
out before the 4th Q is over.
