# | Hokies get "doughnut" on defense, offense breaks out in big way to blank Boston College Great write up and video.
Umm Jackson, Durkin, Gallo.
So when is kickoff??? Hahahaha
So he recruited some guys and didn't do anything special with them. Seems he's fine as a QB coach and that's his ceiling. Who did he recruit that stayed? Seriously, I don't know. (edit: best I can tell it's Shai McKenzie and a couple of QBs who are gone).
Didn't know he had an explosive offense https://t.co/pk9dZ80CMdโ Darius Redman (@TheCalc_52) September 17, 2016
Man I'm glad we scoring more than 12 points this year.. Offense looks great! #Hokiesโ Donovan Riley (@DeuceLRiley) September 17, 2016
The focus this staff has on getting reps for the 2's was evident at the end of this one. I have to think it will pay dividends at some point this season.
Loved seeing juice pounding the rock.
We are gonna be a hand full for some teams this year folks.

# | Hokies get "doughnut" on defense, offense breaks out in big way to blank Boston College One of my favorite stats is that we ran the ball 50 times and passed 27 times and still won 49-0. That's an old-fashioned VT stat line.
Take care of the little things and the big things will come.
I don't think he has a scheme. He has a bag with a bunch of playcards in it and his pet spider monkey pulls plays out of the bag randomly.
I use to argue Loeffler was a net positive for Tech. No more. However, I agree with the poster a few up, we can relish a sound victory and newfound offensive success without kicking dirt in anyone's face.
Is that you Mike Burnop?

Steve Addazio is so lame he wanted to emulate Frank Beamer, but the only thing he could manage was to field a team pairing a championship defense with an anemic offense, then hire Scot Loeffler to "fix" the problem.
I agree and BC obviously doesn't have any talent on the offensive side of the ball. They had trouble scoring points last year too
But "Tech Triumph" is the fight song, not the Alma Mater (which I thought they had been doing for a while after games).
I think Fuente and Cornelson identify the mistakes and clean them up quickly, they also admit that certain things like at at wide receiver isn't that good right now.
Lefty on the hand never admitted anything and the mistakes would continue throughout the season. I think there is a certain football mind and thought process that is different with fuente/cornelson
F&#K Pat and Geno and their nasty-ass Cheez-Whiz garbage. Lee's Hoagie House or GTFO.
They did.
I thought I remembered the team doing this after we beat Liberty as well. Very well could be misremembering though.
loved seeing Motley getting the touchdown too. great seeing our guys play lights out
Honestly, the only thing I am surprised on this game was how many TD's we scored. I know we have a good team. I do believe we are the better team the Tennessee (see how they played against Ohio) and I think we see much better records in our future!
I was looking forward to recording this the entire 4th quarter and I'm glad I was able to sprint back in time for it.
For some background, I'm 95% sure the team learned the words for the Bristol game, as the winning team was supposed to "sing their alma mater in front of their band" according to the media program we got. The obvious benefit is we now get it at home too.
Love it! I always worried that I was the only one that knew the words. But as trivial as this looks it shows that the players are buying into Fuente's vision!
I am getting a little upset at Bucky breaking TE records. He isn't a TE hasn't been all year. He should be being compared to the WR's. I am sorry if that means he won't get to break records, but he isn't a TE. He was aligned outside enough last year that even then he might not have been.

ECU is as opposite as possible from the Loeffler cluster BC showed us. Need to get our mind right.
