This definitely seems off, as the entire speedway was jam packed with people.
The Bristol Motor Speedway folks were probably annoyed at first, but will at some point realize that they can schedule a rematch in 10 years to break their own record. Stay tuned for Battle at Bristol, part deux.

Big issue for the Bills last night, in the first half, much like our Hokies in years past, D just could not get off the field. Jets would have a long sustained drive, score, then Bills offense would be on the field for 3-6 snaps.

Yeah that foot injury is going to cost him money - I think this is a contract year although he might have one more on his rookie deal.

And he'll be limping all year. That foot injury is pretty much only a case of pain management during this season.

Agreed. BC's defense held FSU to 14 points last year, ND to 19. If VT gets to 20 offensive points this weekend, we have a very good offense.

I remembered that incorrectly. You're absolutely right. You have to lose two seasons to injury to qualify for a 6th year waiver.

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:
- The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.
- The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.
- The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.
- The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.
Athletes must keep in mind both the five-year clock and their four seasons of competition. Even if an athlete gets a medical hardship waiver, he or she needs to have time left on their five-year clock (10-semester/15-quarter clock in Divisions II and III) to use that season.
This is problematic for athletes took a normal redshirt season or sat out due to a transfer. An athlete can generally not use a medical redshirt in those cases unless they get a clock extension or sixth year waiver. To do that the athlete show they lost two seasons outside of his or her control. The medical redshirt would be one, but the athlete would still need to show another.
Watkins could probably be used better elsewhere but he has been hampered by injuries for a lot of his career. He was limping pretty much all of last night

From Chipotle? Yes, but they'll be splattered over the back of the cabin due to sheer G-force.
