I'm ready for some Buzzketball!
I wish VT was playing WVU this season. It would have been a home game and I do feel as if it would be a great game this year.
After everything and looking at the stars tonight...I realize that I still hate ECU.

Drew Harris?
What a beauty.
Ivan photographs for TSL, you'd have to ask him.
This picture is amazing. Joe how do members of the Key Players Club get this picture? Since if you join its one of our many perks as members, along with supporting this great website?
I didn't think the Taxslayer was that high in the ACC bowl picks. But I'd take Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa over Phiily, NY or DC in Dec.
I remember a season where the Hokies lost the opening coin toss for like, literally every game
Yeah, except it only lasted 10 games. We couldn't even get a complete season of that! But it went on long enough that ESPN noticed and even ran some numbers of the likelihood of losing that many coin tosses.
Which we will and soon. We have an offense that will have us winning big games on the big stage soon enough.
No idea whatsoever. I don't think he's injured or anything...
Yes, agreed completely.
Don't forget we also get BC twice who was 250th last year though I would certainly assume they'd be better. Rant for another day but scheduling that many 300+ schools is just dumb. Lowers your margin for error and hurts your seeding. There's a ton of shitty teams that we would roll by 20+ in the 150-200 range that wouldn't hurt our RPI as bad as some of these teams. God forbid we lose to one of them
RIR said they have "looked at options" to do other events there, but some issues that come up. They don't want to remove tower in middle of infield, they have important spot in race schedule and won't give that up.
That's so much better than "you couldn't pay me to be a Volunteer". Even ESPN questioned that one on Twitter.
Why is this not seriously being considered?
I don't think our record has a bearing so much on the kickoff time for this game. With Clemson/GT already on Thursday, and 5 teams playing away nonconference games, there are only 4 games controlled by the ACC contract in week 4 eligible for the Saturday timeslots:
-East Carolina at Virginia Tech, ACC Network, 12:30 p.m.
-Central Michigan at Virginia, RSN, 12:30 p.m.
-Wagner at Boston College, ACC Network Extra (a.k.a ESPN3), 1 p.m.
-Pitt at North Carolina, ESPN2 or ESPNU, 3:30 p.m.
Pitt/UNC is a matchup of two teams that were contending for the Coastal last year, and expected to contend for it this year. That's why it's getting the 3:30 spot on a mouse-owned channel.
So really, it was down to those other three matchups, which makes it really obvious as to which one Raycom was going to pick.
Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, please.
If the Tidewater can get an NBA arena without an NBA team, I'm sure they can get a football stadium going too.....
Coach FU's point about selflessness in relation to fumbles was kind of tough for me to understand at first. But then I thought about it. If your the guy with the ball and your fighting like hell for extra yards and you don't wrap both arms around it so you can keep fighting then that might be considered selfish. Wrap the ball in both arms upon contact and secure it first, if you don't get the extra yard or two, so be it. At least your team has the ball for another down. Protect the rock it's yours!!!!!!!
Maryland-Eastern Shore is becoming the basketball version of ECU. Glad they're on the schedule for the upteenth year in a row /s
Dwayne Lawson?
But if not, then what's this life for?
