Well the nearest middle of the conference site to have the ACCCG would be FedEx or M&T Bank Stadium. Philadelphia wouldn't be too bad either, and I'd rather attend a game there than have my team play at FedEx. Just don't go back to Florida. That shit was embarrassing when they showed the crowd.

# | NCAA relocates all 16/17 championships from North Carolina I'm with you. As someone that's taken a couple of gender and sexuality courses at VT, I've got some pretty clear and educated opinions on the subject. Also this is impacting ACC sports which is another thing I'm passionate about. However, a ton of the discussion about this topic is also going to include politics, which I don't talk about (especially on TKP where it violates the community guidelines).
So yeah, sort of weird is a good way of putting it.

# | NCAA relocates all 16/17 championships from North Carolina Being born and raised in NC and seeing what HB2 has done to ruin our reputation, I can't talk about this topic without going into politics outside of saying it's gut wrenching to see what damage this law has done. I would not be surprised if my job is relocated within 5 years if it isn't repealed.
Topics like this one are sort of weird on TKP. It's one of the few times politics and sports clearly cross paths. I really can't say anything nonpolitical and constructive expect that it really could put the ACC in a though spot if we have to move events out of NC.

Week 2 update from our friends at the Worlwide Leader in Sports Useless Statistics:
Tech is now a 7-5 football team! Thanks to the Syracuse and Duke losses to the ACC Atlantic co-leaders (saying Wake Forest leads the Atlantic feels dirty).
The ECU "upset" seems to hurt the chances in Week 4 a bit, and I really don't see how UVA is still below 101%.

I am not sure that was on Hill. On a play like that, one player is assigned to crash and one is assigned to QB. Normally the DE crashes because it is more difficult to block.
On the read option, I THINK that Hill was supposed to crash and Tremaine Edmunds should have taken QB. It is also entirely possible that Hill heard the call wrong and crashed when he should have stayed wide for screen-throwback-reverse-QB keeper responsibility and Edmunds fits inside. I thought Hill did the right thing because Edmunds didn't really come up and fill or go to QB. Instead, he kind of hung in no-man's land like he wasn't sure what to do.
Without being in the locker room, it is impossible to be sure.

I rather enjoyed the announcers take on that. A couple plays later when Shai trucked maybe-Reid, they said "yep it's a lot harder to tackle someone when he sees you coming and the play's not dead". Or something to that effect
I mostly agree, though I was a bit dismayed when we didn't recover the (fourth?) fumble... that snap over Jerod's head. He was already in shotgun but somehow that gigantic lineman beat him to the ball and fell on it first. Jerod clearly made an effort but I think tried to snatch the ball instead of falling on it.
Steve Addazio hangs around doughnut shops to enhance this charade, with the Crown Vic in the parking lot.
I hate to disagree but I have to. The rules on "pick" plays are clear enough and enforcing them would eliminate any need for the line-man down-field stuff. The best an O could do would be getting a man of two down-field with a crossing route running at it. The guy can't block anyone before a catch, and the effect would be the same as a screen. Defense tracks it, attacks the QB and the line-man, and gets either a sack/ interception/ or a free penalty on the offense.
