I agree with MOST of what you posted, except the fumbles and that we're a 6-6 team.
You're drunker than me. Fumbles be damned, I think we still lose. But it's definitely much closer. The fumbles just took away the hope.
I don't think we have the exact ideal blueprint for this offense, but the personnel out there is plenty versatile and talented enough to run this offense successfully. Heck, 400 yards on offense against a very talented defense is nothing to scoff at and that's with limited possessions due to turnovers. It's a bummer it didn't work out tonight. We will have to wait and see at least one more week what this offense looks like when we stop dropping the damn ball.
Yeah, I don't know where I was going with that. I'm tired, we lost, nothing makes sense.

With no fumbles tonight we win that game ....offense looked solid...moved ball well.....TN way over hyped......SEC schedule.will kill them......too bad we could not hold in to the ball and pull it out ......worse in my opinion than the fumbkes was the penalties.......Funte...run them till they puke , then, run them some more.

Yes and no. They are FCS in terms of NCAA rules but the SWAC and MEAC don't participate in the FCS playoffs. The HBCU, historically black colleges and universities, don't think the FCS playoffs hold any benefits for them.

Greater than 10 yards per completion is good enough to open the field up for the running game. On your side here, play calling was nowhere near the issue tonight.

Sorry formatting isn't great, I'm just copy-pasting this stuff. Does not look good. We were pretty sloppy during those years as well (more than Memphis in 2014, in fact), but there doesn't seem to be any indication that the penalty issue is going to go away any time soon.

I think fumbling is a big part of it but that shit can disappear in a week. I think the personnel needs to better match the schemes. I think that will take some turnover to fix. I like our current roster but it might be a few seasons before we realize the offensive blueprint. I think this game was too much too soon for a rebuilding offense. That's all I'm trying to say. Down legs be damned.

Plus he had a couple of decent of runs spoiled by Teller. And Sam looked like Sam. I'm excited about or RBs (even in rotation). #StayingPositive
Your original post. Unless I'm reading it wrong, it says you think there is something wrong with the offensive philosophy. If you do not, then I've read it improperly. I agree with your other assessment.

Well I was just gonna say that the FCS is giving some teams hell so far this year. Can't believe Georgia today... didn't even think it would be close. Thought they'd hang 70 on them,easy.
