I think the two fumbles that were forced by the defense this week were from guys fighting to get more yards. Cam was trying to get first down yardage and so was Travon.

It's McMillian btw, or Dragon. I'm all for Shai getting some more carries but I don't think we need to drastically reduce Dragon's.
I heard the announcers say that Bronco had the players watch game tape of player attitudes. BYU from the bowl game last year, and UVA last week. He wanted them to be more positive and upbeat even when the game wasn't going that way.
So basically, he's teaching his team how to lose.

I don't think everybody (or even the bulk) is trashing the playcalling, I think a lot (myself included) felt that it got very conservative, vanilla, somewhat soft from 2nd-4th. I agree, fumbles and execution. But I also felt some quick slants and hustle by the offense would've helped.
Are we seriously considering removing our most proven rb and home run threat because of a fumble?
My quick takes when I should be going to bed:
-Snapping the ball. At first, I thought the shifts and running behind the line had something to do with it, but after the second fumble, it was the snap.
-Teller. I know he's our best O-lineman, but that damn penalty was the first half of the 1-2 punch that included the fumble that giftwrapped UT's first TD. If we didn't have that penalty, even if we fumbled, it would have been up around the 30 or so.
-The fumbles: Not counting the snap fumbles, it seems like most of them came from good defensive plays. I didn't see any of the ball carriers showboating or holding the ball in obvious bad positions.
-The last couple of years, it seemed like we had bad luck with punts landing at the 5 yard line and not rolling in the end zone. This year, it appears to be the lack of fumble recoveries.
If I had to guess, gunshot wounds were to their hands tonight.
