I'm over here in Albuquerque feeling sorry for everyone who thinks there's anything resembling Mexican food in the state of Virginia (Ive soap-boxed about this on here before, I know it comes off as pretentious, and I'm sorry, but I'm very passionate about this, and it's absolutely true).

OT, Tennessee fans commenting on an article I read were wondering how long they would keep it vanilla against VT in preparation for Florida.

Last week was nothing but looking ahead, nothing to do with TNs ability level or level of preparedness.

Everybody that's there got/bringing their corn'd whiskey??

I'm a bit bothered by it. I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and both of them referred to the Battle At Bristol as "Tennessee vs West Virginia."

It feels like 150,000 fans will show up to see if Tennessee is for real or not. I'm not a fan of seeing VT get treated as the side note.

Finally setup in Thunder Mountain. Directly below the villas, big white canopy tent and a charcoal Titan.

Edit: going to the brewery for the Louisville game

Will they beat VT? etc. etc.

They're not even asking that. It's more like "Will Tennessee look dominant enough to win the SEC after they beat VT."

Earlier Finebaum said something about us not being nearly as tough as upcoming games against Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Alabama. Bama I get, obviously. But the other 3 aren't in a different league than us (figuratively speaking).

I agree. I even had that thought as I typed the previous comment, but then considered how often I hear "nearly" used in such a manner when describing "a lot" of something?.

I think Hill starts most games over Clarke. But we know starting lineup doesn't mean much, it's about the base lineup. Shane Henry started most games last year.

Mook is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Big Mook fan over here.

Not to resurrect an old thread, but since it concerns safety I think it is important:

To all those jackasses out there that want to send email threats, IP addresses are forever. Even if you use an elaborate proxy network, the FBI is going to find you. Great job by the men and women in law enforcement - VT PD and all involved at state and federal levels.
