I don't think we're in that situation. Multiple analysts on espn during major segments have predicted us to win and our staff has been selling this game for a long time to recruits. I think if we're at least competitive it won't hurt us, but if the game is ugly it will be a major blow to momentum.
For example, coaches' boxes have been constructed but are significantly farther from the field than usual. Fences of the speedway have had to be cut down in order for teams to walk to their locker rooms. The design and locations of each team's locker room has been organized for some time.
"But you have to take into account that, really for the most part, we're in a tire shop," Bartelstein said. "We have to transform that into a locker room, a training room, showers, bathrooms that are actually usable for a football game."
I had not thought about these things having an effect on the game management and playing calling.

I am far from a troll my friend.
He does hold a lot in pass protection, but he's far and away our best running blocker and #2 isn't even close to him.
Sounds like an effort rather than ability thing. There were similar things said in the presser with Wiggins about Ford's play on Saturday. Said he lacked effort than could have given him a much better day, and Wiggins wasn't happy about it. Looks like they are trying to get guys to play with maximum effort, and that is what they are rewarding Colt with. Wyatt is the better player, but he has to earn it by putting the work in. Dedication to the team and the work ethic is what the staff is considering paramount.

I agree 99.9% with this "nothing to lose" concept, but there's a big part of me that really dislikes that mentality. I believe you are correct from an outside perspective looking onto us, but I would argue that the-fact-that-we-didn't-win is what we have to lose.
Hear me out... the fact that the ceiling is pretty high for "what we have to win" contributes to the "what we have to lose" in my opinion.
That AND I don't want my UTenn friends taking bake what we gained when we beat up Lane Kiffin in Atlanta...
