The coaches said he didn't know the playbook. He had never played RB before the previous spring, and blocking was an issue. They couldn't rely on him to stay in multiple plays on drives because he couldn't block well enough on play-action.

I always thought that Shane didn't give him enough carries until the NC State game, then he showed what he could do. He was always breaking long runs before then, just not getting the carries.

I agree with what you are saying, I just personally detest the paper airplanes at lane. It shows a lack of respect and maturity. We, as Hokies, are gathered at lane to support our football team, end of story. Either pay attention and get loud, or watch from home, I can stomp on the bleachers in front of me.
