I would feel the same as you except VT's run game strategy has changed substantially with Fuente at the helm. If at some point, in some game, we are set on pounding up the middle and letting a guy take a chance to break one, you'll probably see less of a rotation of guys getting those types of snaps.
Whether I am right or wrong about that, our versatility across the skill positions is outstanding and this is a year we should be soaking up.

McMillian's problem early last year was he did not know the playbook so he could not stay on the field. Then, at midseason, when he was fully up to speed, he could stay in.
If we remember back to last season, McMillan's problem early in the year was that he wasn't getting enough carries early on to get going. Against Liberty, he had only 6 carries at halftime; clearly not enough to get into a groove. I think we need to feed him early to establish his presence.

To be honest Rogers did a better job than McMillian against Liberty from what I saw. Shai probably did best of them all with the touches he got. I just wasn't impressed with TMac at all this game, not that one game is damning.
