I know we've given Stewart Mandel some grief recently, but this is straight [ fire emoji ].

I really think from the reports I have heard from Bud and other coaches in print that Motu is primed to have a Warrenesque season. The DLine will do a better job of keeping the linemen off him and his burst to the ball will be put to good use.

I was trying to figure that out as well. Our program has a good image. The things I could think of were: a somewhat low APR in football (9th in the ACC), the recent arrests of Alexander and Gaines (of course, minor compared to some of the things that happen), and a noticeable decline in attendance in recent years. Of course, their explanation of what determines admirable vs. embarrassing is basically "here's what we think," so take it with a large salt lick (just for you, my equine friend).

Ehh what I saw was a horrible OL that couldn't routinely stop a 4 mean rush last night. App St is decent, but if they could continuously get penetration Mihotra and Settle will destroy them. Sure, we'll see Dobbs run more, but after last night, that's more out of necessity than scheme. And we saw what happens if we make him throw, he does really stupid things with the ball.

They may be good but last night didn't show it. Defensively they clamped down nice in the second half but App was overly run centric and really never even tried to pass. And even then it took them to the second half for Tennessee to adjust.

I like our chances a lot more after last night. Tennessee right now reeks of this year's overrated over hyped SEC squad. This is now a very winnable game for us.

I would love to get the unbiased level-headed reflections from a Tennessee beat writer after last nights game. My head says worry about Liberty but my heart is brimming with confidence for Bristol.

Thank you so much for that. And (even though I already believed we were going to win) I believe it even more now. For Tyler. All day, all the way.

It was surprising after drinking a beer then checking the scores
to see UT losing at the half. I did think they'd eventually win but
man that was something seeing that full stadium quiet.

Hey Egbert,

Planning on stopping by to say hey. I'll bring some beers and snacks.

I tried the twitter, facebook, and truncated links and they were all redirecting me, which is weird, because it didn't the first time.

Anyway I updated the OP. My bad guys.

Then there's the place where no program wants to be: The bottom left. This is where fans and professors can clink glasses and agree to watch something else on Saturdays.

And yet, LOLUVa is not in that quadrant, but we are (slightly)...I question their methodology.
