Since you asked, Mook's name is misspelled in the title. fixed.

I like the write up best; the video is nice to have available as a bonus. The transcript style after your commentary is useful if I have time, but the video can also serve that purpose.

Fear not, your defending champion is back. Here we go:

1. Houston
2. Georgia - special teams could be huge
3. BAMA PAAAWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLL
4. Clemson
5. Texas - Sure, why not?
6. Ole Miss - See #5

I'll be smoking a #butt on Saturday and drinking good ol' American Miller Lite. But don't worry beer nerds, we have a craft beer fest on Sunday that I will be attending.

So glad to see this back, thank you FifFuller. A few thoughts:

The 12th Man gets its name from the fact that there are only 11 players allowed on the field at one time, but if you are super sneaky, you can disguise a 12th one and thus give your team a man advantage.

Kinda like the Redskins did with Tony Romo or the Hokies did with Jacory Harris! Now I get it!

Also, Rudiger was the last name of the character Rudy, from the movie, Rudy, played by SamWise Gamgee, aka Mikey.

And the eagle mascot appears to be wearing a powdered wig

How about a depth chart listing what positions the players were recruited for or played in HS.

This was glorious.

Being 'half-feral' would be like being half 'fully-dipped.'.......which thankfully we are not.
This is what came up on Bing image search for 'half-feral':

Liberty is going down!

To this end, I wouldn't be surprised if when Mihota's successor comes around, Foster says something along the lines of: "I'm very excited about this (new kid). He gives us the ability to do a lot of different things with our defense. You know Mihota was a good player, but we were limiting at times with what we could do with him." Note, this is actually what he said about Tremaine Edmunds this year when replacing Deon Clarke. He also said this about Gaines replacing Dadi.

IMO we can't see Gaines and Hill mature fast enough. I realize you have to change you your scheme sometimes to makeup for the players weaknesses. It's just a matter of how much. Ideally you aren't limited by your players' skills. Hopefully Gaines and Hill can get us there.

I also know we haven't seen a down of football being played this year. So Mihota could very well show us another side of him.

Weather looks downright pleasant this weekend. Have a few soccer games to attend (Including VT @ G'town Monday. Go Briz, let's keep the roll going with VT Soccer!!!!) So I think some grapefruit IPA will fit the bill just right.

Not familiar with their downtown scene but now you have my interest. will look it up later.

1. Hence Blacksburg having the problems it has, but I am not talking about a stand alone big box. I mean one that is inside the shopping mall itself.

2. Hotels I know are problematic because as you say outside of football season there is plenty of rooms already. I would need to see the overall hotel quants and occupancy rates to know what type I would prefer to develop. But the hotel portion could be substituted for additional daily pop gains with added apartments. Especially with Hotel Blacksburg there.

3. No need to compete. Move it or Expand it throughout the pedestrianized zone.
