I don't have a problem with someone picking us 6th, we do need to prove something and you can justifiably list five teams in front of us that have fewer questions....whether it is coaching consistency or fewer talent gaps.

But to say that Fuente didn't inherit anything? That's crazy talk. The offensive talent at VT this year is at least one of the five best VT has ever had (1999, 2010 and 2011 are clearly better). Besides QB, this team is loaded on the offense with 4-5 tailbacks, three of the best WR's we've ever had and a lot of young talent behind them and about 7-deep on the OL. QB is a big deal and can make or break this team, but it's also Fuente's specialty.

{Of note, 1999 and 2011 both were seasons that started with an unproven QB...but with certainty of who it would be.....Mark Leal family aside.}

And Fuente "inherited" Bud Foster.

I don't think they should ban him, and he's probably at the end of his career, anyway. He does need some official "guidance" as to what his role is. I'm guessing (and hoping) this affects his sponsorships in a negative way.

Some Olympians have forgotten that their primary role is ambassador, not athlete. They are at the Olympics as a representative of a country.

If they're a great athlete, but act like an ass, they aren't doing their job.

I think this speaks volumes to JJ's character. And this is exactly the type of player we want every Hokie to be. He doesn't expect to play and he acknowledges that playing is a right that is earned rather than a privilege based on past high school achievements. Not to talk down on Lawson, but I just never saw this attitude from him last year. Maybe he'll transfer?

I don't think they're tired of sharing money so much as they're tired of having empty seats and no hype for FCS games games against non-P5 opponents. And more P5 v. P5 match ups are desired, both from a media content perspective and a butts in seats perspective.

Because Dave Grohl has a great sense of humor but I can't really see him tearing down other musicians like that..he seems like the kind of guy who loves all types of musicians (I was at his 4th of July concert in DC 2015) so I have a hard time believing that he would trash Nickelback
