I would take care of that, but I can't because of restraining ord...er...um...reasons.

TRIGGER WARNING: I personally find YouTube to be the perfect place to go and have intense intellectual discussions, particularly over historical and political matters. Everyone there is extremely kind and intelligent and they can all voice their opinions calmly and without condescension.

I'm pretty much captain of that boat at the moment. But even if TKP went to all pay and I couldn't access it right now, I'd be ok with that. I'm not going to be broke forever, but I can't stomach TKP not being here or taking a step back in content.

Can't say I agree with only TCU and Texas A&M being considered. If either of those 2 played Houston at a neutral site I'm taking the Cougars.

How does this guy get more legs than me and hasn't even joined?! For the record I am not even a Hokie Alum, just a die hard fan who was indoctrinated at an early age by two Hokie parents. 100 legs should be rewarded for joining.

Going to sign up when I get home. Quick question- anyway I can join the club and donate more than the $84/year? Or do I have to do separate donations to give more money?

He can use it for his Facebook for a 5 dollar donation to TKP right?

Well, yes... defects should be called out. Unsolicited suggestions for improvements should be kept to yourself if you haven't ponied up to financially support the effort.

Ahh ok.... well, at the very least we wore them in 2002 as well (just found the pic)

We also wore the white version against Temple in 2003 in a waaaaaaay too close for comfort affair

#6 was the 2000 game against UVA. No need for it to burn since we won! I remember that the UVA defense was trying to hurt Vick all game. They'd roll on his ankles after the play was over and all sorts of extra curricular garbage. I found a picture:

I think we should differentiate between "complaining" and "this is broken and shouldn't work this way".

Instead of a thread for ads that won't shut up or scroll the page for you, maybe an anonymous "report problems" link where we can notify Joe or his future employee about technical issues that lead to a poor visitor experience.

I appreciate the enthusiasm/sales pitch, and wasn't really thinking about direct donations and was more focused on increasing TKPers club membership. Also, I didn't know you could setup automatic monthly payments with paypal.

Edit: grammer/phone error

I was a member of Six String Country (Tutorial Guitar site) and they too, used to have a monthly membership of $9.99. Once they stopped with the monthly charge and asked for $$$ up front to cover a yearly membership, they lost business, including mine. A monthly membership is the way to go. Not many folks will miss 9 bucks a month, but $84.00 in one pop, for someone who is struggling financially, will be missed.
