I will simply be happy if I can't, with some degree of confidence and accuracy, predict the plays VT is going to run. For not being an expert, it was previously, remarkably consistent...and disheartening.

So they get equal payout + their contract with NBC? WTF

I, for one, will promise one full year of no bitching about the offense. (because it's going to be awesome! high five!)

But, for the record, I never bitched about RB rotations (talent problem, not a rotation problem) or WR screens (work fine if blocked and thrown accurately).

Well the good news is that UNC is quickly mobilizing. They are making coaches and players take a course on treating women in a professional, respectful manner.

The bad news is that it's being taught by their African and African-American Studies faculty.

all of them are still consensus 3 stars. I like keene a lot and think hooker has a lot of potential but a 90 grade on 247 is a 3 star anywhere else (ford and durkin ring a bell for other 90 ranked qbs). I think most people realize there is some talent in this class there are also quite a few reaches/projects at the lower end of the spectrum and the inability to get any of VA's top talent is troublesome.

While you're working on the green screen version, here's a "there and back" looping gif.

So, this is right before ND's break so students are leaving that time of year in droves for Thanksgiving. In addition, ND is a great program (in my eyes) but it has one of the shittiest game day atmospheres I've seen. It's tons of alum who only come in for a game or two a season and sit all game long politely clapping. It's like UVA without the condescension. Plus, November 19th in South Bend is going to be cold as balls. People just don't turn out. There is a decent likelihood that the stadium could be half maroon and orange as we all see this as one of our biggest games of the year and ND sees it as another game.

I'm so excited.

I don't understand any of it. The process to get season tickets at ND makes it appear nearly impossible to get them.

Here's hoping a lot of Hokies eat these seats up!

Yeah I think this is the most interesting thing about the video. He' begins the video with such a steely, serious look on his face.

And then he starts dancing and he looks like he's having the time of his life. It's a fascinating piece of video.

Marshawn looks like he is in great shape! I hope his knee is in good shape too. I love for the kids to go out there and dominate, but as I get older I realize more and more that them enjoying the college experience and being healthy. I really hope that EVERYTHING has been done to minimize risk of re-injury, including full rehabilitation and patience with getting the knee right again.

Being able to score actual physical points this year will definitely be a nice breath of fresh air. But I just get the feeling we're in for a lot of 35-31 type shootouts. Which, hey, at least would be fun to watch, despite the stress involved.

(yes, I do realize I just chose 2 scores that are fairly average nationally for the definition of a shootout.... says something about how good our defense has been and how bad the offense has been all these years)

yeah, I agree with you there. I think the last couple seasons have really dragged on the defense. We went from stout, to bend not break, to bend and break sometimes, to what the fuck just happened against Tulsa?

Ultimately though I think the greatest damage done was on offense, and I think Fuente is more confident he can win football games when he has the offense he wants with a shaky defense than with an offense that is not up to par and a great defense.

First, I love his 'sam rogers' look at her at the very very beginning. Intense focus.
Second, he busts into a big bobbly grin as he exudes spontaneous joyous excellence.
Its just, magnificent.

"In the rare case that I knew the team had surprises in store, I will show discretion in my reviews (see my writing before the first Ohio State game- we wrote about 0 coverage, but didn't talk about the Bear even though Bud showed in the last scrimmage before the spring game."

Cue in sigh of relief!
