I did listen to a few other team's media time to learn a little about them. For example, I heard the unfortunate news that Paul Johnson still has a job.

This stood out to me, as the situation regarding McMillian has been a topic of considerable interest and speculation:

Same happened to me on tickets and got way worse seats when I attempted again. I got a weird confirmation email with an order number, but no seats. Will call about them to tomorrow.

I thought nbc has exclusive notre dame football rights until the 2089 season?
I hope it's spelled out in the contract that there will be equitable coverage for all schools and events. Would hate to tune in to see the same schools getting all the coverage or seeing Notre Dame or UNC getting all football and basketball coverage while others only get limited coverage of non-revenue events.

Its called Behavioral Economics my friends. Its the same thing all the of the dying print publications are doing too. Not that long ago The Economist was running a deal for subscriptions. I am convinced they literally ran it as an experiment to write about in a future edition.
Offer 1:
A) Web subscription: $145 annual
B) Print subscription: $50 annual
In this instance, option A was the runaway favorite
Offer 2:
A) Online subscription: $145
B) Print subscription: $50
C) Online + Print: $150
Option C was the runaway choice.
People literally were willing to pay $5 for an additional feature they had pretty much no interest in. That's just how people make decisions. And as you said, it looks better on the bottom line when trying to lure/set advertising rates.

Without reading through everything- I believe I said thatTulsa didn't score on any of the possessions where Nigel Williams and Mihota were on the field. Williams was injured in the 3rd Q, so I believe Tulsa did score once when Bud brought in the backup DL minus Mihota to give the starters a breather late in the game.
In the first half, Tulsa scores the first two drive then Tulsa went 3 and out in their first possession with Mihota and Williams on the field. (score 14-14/series where Riley got hurt).
Williams and Baron stayed in with the starting DE the next series (also a 3 and out.)
Next series- starters back in across the DL and Tulsa scores.
Next series starting DL was in and got a stop.
Next Series 2 DL is in but Williams is out (Sobczak in) and they got a 3 and out.
NextSeries- starting DL in. Tulsa drives, Dadi takes the 15 yarder. Mihota comes in and has his worst play I have seen on film (trainwrecked by the HBack.) Then Mihota gets a sack on 3rd and goal to force a field goal attempt.
I am happy to keep going, but I am tired and have actual work to do.
