"(It) could be the home of all the Griffin boys," Griffin told The Key Play.
Another set of brothers? That's what I like to hear.

# | ASK FRENCH- What are your Hokie football questions before fall camp kicks off? "I had almost forgot about Marshawn."

Hope this isn't fat fingering:
"2017 CB Ameer Speed, Sandalwood HS, Jacksonsville, Fla."
His name game is strong.
now if the 247 recruiting team rankings would update themselves to reflect a new ranking for us i'd like to see where we stand post-Garbutt decommitment
I know that a lot of HC members did not get tickets in 2014 to OSU because they were gobbled up by the high ranking HC members. Since we've never played at ND before, I would expect it to be similar this time around (though I have no idea how many tickets ND allocates for visitors vs OSU).
To be safe, I went ahead and bought from ND, even though I did request from VT's ticket office. I figure I can resell any extras that I have.
At the end of the day, results are results. If Fuente uses a different back every play no one will care if we score points.
When it comes right down to it, I couldn't care any less about how many RBs are in the rotation and how often they are subbed out. All I care about is the results.
If we gain 8 yards per by switching players every play, throwing nothing but screens and running nothing but jet sweeps, then great. If we gain a half yard per by leaving one player in the whole time, then not great at all.
I'm sure we've all heard that players like to get into the game and get a rhythm, but I can't help but think that the reason we hate running back rotations is because they just weren't successful. Had they been successful, I'm not sure we would have ever had a problem with them.
My issue is they get full cut even though they have a whole other deal for home games. When Tech goes to South Bend this year they won't get any revenue for it.
Can't say for sure, but I'd think ND will produce plenty of revenue for the ACC regardless. Just speculation, but they'll probably carry their weight.
Wake Forest is the team I don't think will generate enough to deserve a full cut.

Anyone have advice on how to handle hokie club ticket orders and general public sales? I put in an order through HC but have no idea if I'll get any until these probably sell out. Does it seem likely that we'll use up our own allocation pretty quickly for a game like Notre Dame?
Speaking of Key Lime Pie. If you live near a Bruster's, stop in and DEMAND the Key Lime Pie ice cream. It's phenomenal.
No worries! I just get nervous whenever I see any thing Buzz Williams related because I am terrified of losing him and feel like it could happen at any moment.
Hardly anything so interesting, just some fat fingers on my part. Thanks for pointing it out!
Dude is as committed to ISU as Johnny Football is to staying clean!
So pumped for Hendon to get here.
One thing I think has been mentioned previously is that, although Fuente typically uses a few different RBs, he tends to give them an entire series and not substitute after every play. Considering he wants to play uptempo and no huddle, it makes sense to not slow the offense down by substituting so much during the drive.
For the educated fan it won't matter for the fan who just sees: why don't we just run one back, why do we run jet sweeps and screens it will be more stadium coaches talking about how it should be done.
its all about the #how and not so much the #what
when you telegraph what you're about to do (sub in McMillian and put him in the slot with Malleck lined up as the HB on the other side...see if the defense knows that we're running a jet sweep...) by substituting backs for specific roles you run into problems. When all of your RBs can do the same job and they can still threaten all parts of the defense regardless of formation you begin to see advantages with rotating them. For how complicated Loeffler's offense appeared to be for the players never allowing a RB to get into a groove really hampered them IMO.
Awesome list of recruits. Sounds like a good time.
Interesting to see Hafiz on the list after committing to ISU.
Got two in section 3. I can't wait for this game!!!
It wasn't the cup that was the problem, it was a few of the comments.
Thanks for the information Alex. Hopefully we get a few guys on board after this weekend!!!
One question I had,
2017 RB Nadir Thompson, Southern Nash HS, Bailey, N.C
I thought he was a 2018, is he reclassifying?

I'll be in South Bend! May be my only game for the season. Dad is a ND grad so I'll be up with my two brothers (both Hokies) for a little family brawl.
