Agree on some, and disagree on some. I will leave it at that, but respect your take.
On a Thursday night
Looked him up and the crystal balls say:
80% VT
20% ECU
So if I've learned anything over the years of going up against ECU, we are screwed!
Well, at least the 50 yard line will have some seriously green grass
I cannot say for Bristol as I have never camped there. However, I can say that many of the other tracks I have been to and camped were very unpoliced. You pay to get in and for your spot, but don't see anyone in charge of the place all weekend. Martinsville is a huge free for all, though. It's just a big hill with some level spots that everyone crams in to. They get strict about vehicles, but other than that once you are in, you are in and can set up whatever the hell you want. Generally there has never been anything to stop people from walking in too.
And soon, ODU!

I usually find a toilet so I can sit. Usually
I am a part of this group also. I believe there are around 15 of us and the majority of us are heading there directly after the Liberty game. If you have to pay for the week, you may as well use it. Also going to the concert Friday night. A bunch of us did the same thing for the OSU game and spent the week in Columbus. it was fun walking into the bars on Monday and the OSU fans were like "Aren't you guys a little early"
Clemson. Two programs with very passionate football fanbases, both land-grant institutions, military academy history, similar focus academic programs (engineering, sciences, etc), both have very sprawling campuses with a lot of land. I think it's an all-around good fit and intriguing game.
Concur, aTm was great and would be great again. Plus an every-year $EC tilt would be awesome!
Since VT was originally part of the Southern Conference before we went independent, I would like to keep in the south. Miami, GT, Clemson and LOLUVA. If we had 5 protected rivalries you could throw in one of the NC schools. NC St would be fine. Then we could go to a 10 game schedule and get rid of the ECU and the Liberty's of the world.
Staying at Shadrick with a bunch of friends and a big ass RV....can't wait.
Ummmm... there is only one answer here
ECU
I'd go with loserville. They're easy to hate [1] and give you an excuse to hit the bourbon trail every other year. Backup choice: F$U. Admit it, doing the tomahawk chop in lane in '07 was awesome and we want to do it again! Backup backup choice: clemson. I'd actually be good with either of them, both are marquee opponents and both offer awesome road trip possibilities.
Anyone who says 'cuse should be voted off the island. To hell with that miserable dome.
[1] At least for those of us old enough to remember the metro conference fucking they gave us. Not that I'm bitter.
dont think i need a CB telling me that the guy has opened his recruiting back up and has us in mind haha. Good news too because we desperately need LBs
spot on! you guys need more depth up top too, welbeck has flair but i dont think hes a particularly great option up top, he cant split open a defense. Also i dont know if you can consider your fullback pairing best in the league, gotta give tottenham credit (especially because their fullbacks are regular starters for England). but I'm not entirely sold on gabriel, if you guys had landed hummels and a decent striker i think you'd be the team to beat. You need another option at the CB position (a really good one) and someone to help Giroud. Still though, i think wenger has done less with more lately

Anyone except Syracuse or BC
I change my mind on whether I think Wenger has lost "it" or not every other week. I think Gabriel is going to end up starting with Kos this year and that'll be an improvement, though not perfect. The nice thing is we have the best pair of fullbacks in the league, and Xhaka is going to help those central guys immensely. Xhaka is a MAJOR improvement over Coq/Flamini.
I just really, really hope they come up with another striker soon, because as much as I adore Giroud, he absolutely can not carry a whole season. He gets gassed and then goes on a multi-month scoring drought. He needs breaks, and with Welbeck out for a long while, if we don't sign someone else, I'm gonna be upset.
Seems like whatever scheme ESPN decides to push is what comes to fruition. They want only four main conferences so that their playoff scheme can be a simple contest between conference champions. Not sure how to have everyone thrive within that scheme, especially adding cost of attendance when so few schools break even now. Maybe some schools will be forced to drop sports and just concentrate on education ! ...... naaah.
We also just picked up a CB on this kid, for whatever you want to take that for.
Interesting update from Alex:
2017 Ga. LB Jaylen Griffin tells me he's decommitted from Cal. He visited the #Hokies last week and plans to again next month.— Alex Koma (@AlexKomaVT) June 22, 2016
I agree with this

I had a random thought about this because I heard about this story in Feb. but there was never a follow up on it. I thought, "hey, what ever happened to LSU football getting shut down? I didn't hear about any solution to that problem."
So for those of us who remember these things...the state of Louisiana did get a big tax increase that went into effect in April. I guess LSU football was saved and it was a huge bluff just like most people here said.
