I dress like that just to embarrass my daughter.
Thanks Musky. Needed that.
I assumed it wasn't originally on TKP since I've been here awhile and didn't remember it, apparently it happened earlier on in my TKP days before I was on everyday. Thanks for the heads up.
I live in LA now, and it ain't exactly SWVA. I love LA. I love what I do. The weather is amazing and the city has many great communities, especially near the beaches. Don't want to live her for much longer, but like you said, not a lot of opportunity back in SWVA for my line of work. Charlotte might have to suffice eventually.

# | OT: Jeremy Clarkson fired by the BBC, Richard Hammond and James May will likely step away from Top Gear as well I kept thinking that Chris Evans in Top Gear was the actor from Captain America, and disappointed how many people hated him. Time to sub Chris "Captain America" Evans in to replace the imposter?
Or you can do what I did. Move to Charlottesville, and just let the football team take over the town.
After watching the first episode and half of the second one, I've come to this conclusion: Chris Evans watched about 3 episodes of old Top Gear and said "Clarkson shouts a lot and cheats incessantly. Right. I know how to host Top Gear now." Utterly failing to realize that the reason Clarkson's cheating was so hilarious is because of how much it wound Hammond up... LeBlanc just taking it whenever Evans cheats is booooooring.
I do like LeBlanc, though, he's not trying to imitate any of the former three, he's his own guy.
Are they gonna let me get one in Wyoming?
Fire emojis!

Campus emporium is nice. Also alumni hall has a good selection.
Anyone know where I can get a black pro-combat shirt a la the Boise game?
A quick use of the search bar at the top of the page came back with 2 pages of results. Here is the 1st
That's still an acceptable claim of title on a property or vehicle in most of the southeastern US. I'm not sure about Indiana.
I don't know what this is, but I'd like to know. Any links to old articles or whatever this is.
My guess on the thinking behind it being hosted in the US every time: infrastructure and $$$. It's that simple really.
And I agree with you about utilizing soccer-specific stadiums, as there's lots of great venues that would look much better on TV being filled closer to capacity for these lesser-attended games. If Beckham ever gets his stadium built in Miami, it'd be a perfect place to host games for Haiti & Jamaica.
Huh, and here I thought that if I pee'd on everything it was automatically mine. Schooling taught me nothing.
My life has finally calmed down this year, so I am probably bringing it back this season.
There is so much versatility on this lineup. Can go big. Can go small. Can go fast. Can go long. Just thinking of possible rotations and where people could fit in:
PG: Robinson, Allen, Wilson, Jackson
SG: Bibbs, Allen, Hill, Clarke, Outlaw
SF: Hill, Clarke, Outlaw, Bibbs
PF: Leday, Clarke, Blackshear
C: Blackshear, Leday, Sy, Hamilton
Good times are ahead.
I had plans to go before I got the job for a bunch of different reasons. One of which is I spend 10ish years of my childhood in NW Indiana 2.5 hours away from where my job is located and grew a hatred for Notre Dame. I don't want to talk about how many rants I heard about how they get disrespected because they weren't in a conference. I always responded saying that should join one which sort of happened in the worst way possible. It was a sad moment when I heard Notre Dame would be part of the ACC, although it does gives me a chance at my childhood dream of seeing VT beat them in football.
After college advice: Go to local bars and challenge the dominant males to duels (sword, powder loaded flintlock pistols, etc) and upon your victory you shall legally own all the females in that territory. Great way to make a splash in a new town.
I go to the local alum watching parties for basically every VT game anyway. We get some decent specials and it's $10-20 a week depending on how long and if I get food a little over $20. Way cheaper than cable and we're usually out after that so I'd be buying bar drinks anyway watching the other games.
I second campus emporium. They always have legit merchandise that you can't find anywhere else.
Did not know that it would be a recurring cost to ESPN. If that's the case, I cannot see ESPN eating that over 1-2 years before they will make a network. The main thing I am worried about is if they cut costs on the network to try and make the cost of running it lower so they do not lose money like they are with the others.
I only use the two places above and have never been disappointed!

GRRR Georgia doesn't have a VT license plate. We have every SEC school, plus Clemson, FSU, GT, Texas, and maybe a few others. How does one go about petitioning state for this?
